I fell at work and hurt my knee, wrist, elbow and completely tore the front tendon in my rotator cuff. Comp Doc said I could have the rest of the day off but I was to show up for my shift the next day. I was shocked because my position at work is a shift manager at a major Drug Store/Pharmacy. I had to use all my PTO (40 Hours) and then one week of no pay at all until I felt I could go back. My work accommodations were being a Cashier and that wasn't easy to do when I had no use of my right arm at all. Kicked out of Workman's Comp after an MRI with the doc saying it was previous damage and left the doctor's office with no doctor, no physical therapy, no work restrictions. I am super lucky to have an amazing boss who has been very patient with me for the last 7 months. Ended up needing to use my own insurance and $$$$ to cover the surgery I needed (my arm never would have gotten better without it) and all the doctor bills that comes along with that. I had to come up with about $3000+ to cover the 20% that my insurance didn't cover. Had to take a leave from work to do the surgery and recover. Had to file for disability and I will be in physical therapy for at least 2 more months. It's been 12 weeks since surgery and my doc will release me to go back to work with restrictions next week. It has been a complete nightmare.

I have been refusing to work for the past three years, after my 9th straight injury claim was denied without diagnosis. After I abandoned my career as a red seal journeyman plumber and journeyman class b gasfitter, I finally received a diagnosis of permanently disabled.. Due to a collapsed disc in my back, that resulted from WCB’s neglect. WCB’s “culture of denial” has turned me into an advocate against skilled trades. Parents should be protecting their children from ending up in a skilled trade. Do this by saving money for your child’s college education. As education is the only path to success during late stage capitalism.

I am about to consider settling my workers comp case which involves three separate injuries with the same employer, over the span of almost 10 years. March 2013, August 2016, and September 2018. Each injury involves the same body parts, both knees and lower back neck And head. The insurance company and my existing attorney wanted to exclude the lower back from the very beginning or win the first and only initial deposition was taken. I remain vigilant in pursuing treatment for the lower back, but my lawyer and the insurance company continue to state that there is no doctor, who stated that the back injury was related to the workers comp case. Even though I showed her written statement from the back doctor, which stated exactly that my lower back pain was more than likely attributed to the numerous injuries sustained from work. I am Also concerned about how the three separate injuries are going to be settled. I have had two knee replacement injuries, but the insurance company would only acknowledge one knee, because a meniscus tear was caused as a direct result of the first injury at work. The insurance company Believes that my existing arthritis is the main cause for the surgery on the other knee and that it has nothing to do with work related injuries. Although these body parts were injured during each of the three injuries reported to the employer. Also, I was terminated from my employer, because I refuse to return to work during the doctor ordered disability status. I have written documentation for all of these events. None of the injuries were caused by me, but were caused by either neglect , on the part of the employer, or the work related environment. Can you respond? Thank you.

Hi I have evidence in writing that Amazon management alter and forge legal accident reports. Of someone is injured or even killed while on Amazon property as a employee and the blaim is Amazon's or Amazon management. The MANAGEMENT ALTER The Hand WRITTEN REPORTS THAT ARE SUBMITTED BY EMPLOYEE injured. The hand written report is typed into a word document with no wittiness, so damaging info and evidence is left out of the report or totally doctored to absolve the company or managers. I have evidence that management downloaded a DUPLICATE FORM AND FILLED IT IN, ALTERING THE EVIDENCE AND STATEMENT MADE. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH ARE SUPPOSED TO REPORT THE Word DOC. I QUESTIONED OCCUPATIONAL ABOUT THE FORGED DOCUMENT. AND YHEY TOLD ME IN WRITTING THAT THEY HAD NOT EVEN BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE ACCIDENT. THEY ALSO LOOKED INTO IT AND YOLD ME MY MANAGER AND HR SENIOR MANAGER HAD DOWN LOADED A DUPLICATE AND FORGED THIS DOCUMENT.
