Inline Figure Skating Session 13

Finally working on my fundamentals!! This video I go over all 3 point turns, as well as brackets. I also show you guys my new down hilling gear, the Powerslide Next boot with a 4x 110 set up, and some sliding gloves.

"Brackets" are cool, but by far the coolest are the "Counters". I learned the forward outside counter and feels so good when it works. Also easy to slam if you don't time it correctly.

@@SaccoBelmonte I’m super excited to get counters and rockers down, next session will probably be focused on those two, hopefully not too many falls on the counters 😅

OMG you're sooo good at this, the way you easily and confidently go around in circles is awesome!!!!
is it important to skate only on smooth surfaces?

@@rubytroublemaker I skate on rough surfaces a lot in my other skates with a 3x90 mm set up, but for figure skating specifically if helps a lot if the ground is smooth so it’s more consistent and there’s less to mess up your balance.. I’m hoping that once I get better I can do these moves out in the street and the rough surfaces won’t trip me up as much

@@darksider7791 sooo much easier without many people around, I wake up early and go to public parks with basketball courts to be totally alone usually. Keep practicing!!
