Loved these guys. I was especially pleased to see video with Eddie’s brother, David singing with them onstage. He sang on some of their recordings but, to my knowledge not live.
Love how Eddie Brigati cups his hand over his left ear just like Robin Gibb used to do..The Bee Gees were there that night as well..being inducted into the RR Hall of Fame.😊❤🎉
Back in the 60’s I had a band & we loved doing Mustang Sally, Love is a Beautiful Thing, You Better Run & of course…Good Lovin’❤️ I (we) loved The Rascals….still do ! ✨Rest in peace & love Dino 🙏🏼✨
I ,still shake My head ,knowing 'Dino' is gone. No one brought to the table , the Art of Drummng like He did then . He ,may have been the First real Drummer I saw 'Live' in that context .Lasting impression of it all. Was finally able to spend some time w/ Him .after years in awe.. God Bless You dear one.
@coldcreamnroses1038 They took their reunion on tour. When I saw tickets on sale I thought it was a mistake or a cover band. I had a job where I worked from home or traveled to assignments. Of course I had to be out of town the day of the concert. I was heartbroken. 💔
I was a big Rascal's fan as a kid. I think they may have been my first concert. I was 12. I met them after they show. I heard that Felix is in a nasty legal battle with the other 3. I don't know what it is about. I heard Felix is the bad guy. Too bad. I hate that after all of these years there is bad blood.
money will do that sometimes, unfortunately it gets in the way of the magic created by bands this. I don't know for a fact if that's what happened here but what else can it be
Dino died in December 2022, so the battle doesn't or didn't include him. And the Rascals are currently (summer 2024) on tour again, with Felix and Gene and a backing band. So maybe the legal stuff has been settled.
@@adc2327 Up in age, yes. I'm pretty sure that Gene is 80 and Felix is 81. The tour probably isn't an extensive one, and hopefully they're doing only one or two dates per week. They sure don't have anything to prove at this point. Their legacy is on the pages of music history and it's intact. Re Eddie: I don't think it's age. It seems that Eddie, when he left the band, had pretty strong grievances and pretty strong feelings about never rejoining (except for the R&R HOF induction).
@57highland Well.. It didn't work out like that. The RHOF was in 1997. The Broadway show Once Upon A Dream was in 2013. Then they took the show on the road. It even came to my city. They were all there. They talk about lawsuits. The show was out on some streaming platforms. I saw it, but apparently it has been pulled. We don't know about their personal, legal or health situations.
I heard them 100 times in the 60's if not more and never heard them better than this video. Then and now one of the best live bands ever!
Dang! Dino was an amazing drummer! One of the greatest! RIP Dino!!! 🙏🏻
I came here to say exactly that. I didn't really pick up on him until recently but gol' dang did he kill it or what!
True Artist on the Drums . Very few could even hold a dim light to His Creativeness.
Nice to see so much of Dino, and without the shades. Also great to see David Brigati.
I'm 72 and fortunate to have seen so many rock legends live in concert. One of my regrets is I did not see the Rascals live.
@LarryNeie-lj7zc I am close to your age. I too have seen many music artists. I think the Rascals were my first concert .
A girl like you ,on one side and on the B side "it's love" , man my brother and I wore that 45 out on our little record player. Memories.

David co wrote some. Arranged and sang. Doesn't get enough credit IMO
Joey Dee

Thats for pitch because of high volume. Singers do it all the time
Talk about underrated excellence.
Dino Danelli is a Rock God.
Lovely Rascals. I miss those groovy days.
They were so, so unique, which is why I liked them. Great pop hits during their days.
Just luv that soulful, R&B voice of Felix. And in 2021 he's still performing & still got it. Will always luv the Rascals. Thanx for this video.
Dino was the greatest drummer ever...God I miss him.
So glad I caught this video. Here they sound as great as ever
I grew up w/ the rascals music! Good times ! They just as good then , when the were young ! 👍🙏
The best always underrated

Unreal sounds
Gene Cornish with that really high back up, vocal voice, tremendous.

All my favorite songs ❤❤❤

One of my favorite songs sounds black and the drummer was great
They were big in the old days. Then they become big.
Hey, it's Billy " the Bass" Nelson.👍🏾
I'd pay $10,000 a seat to attend this performance. Bonus: The Bee Gees were also inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Los originales🎉
I'm late to the party on this one, love The Rascals. Anyone know who the singer is next to Cornish?
I think it's David Brigati, Eddie's older brother.
@@57highlandIt is definitely David Brigati..Eddies brother.😊🎉

@57highland Thanks! Good to hear. Too bad Eddie isn't with the tour. Touring is grueling. Those guys are up in age now. Maybe Eddie isn't up to it.

Eddie and his brother too...
They both sang with and were in the band Joey Dee and The Starlighters..whose big hit in the early 60s was The Peppermint Twist.😊❤🎉
