- REO Speedwagon performing at Live Aid in front of 100,000 people in the John F. Kennedy Stadium, Philadelphia USA on the 13th July, 1985. The event was organised by Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for the Ethiopian famine disaster. Broadcast across the world via one of the largest satellite link-ups of all time, the concerts were seen by around 40% of the global population.

I'll be 65 in a few months. Great songs like this serve as mileage markers along my life's journey. They conjure up a place, a person, a feeling. And I am reminded that I can't get back there. But with music come memories, and I am transported back in time in my mind.

Three days ago this song helped me tell the incredible guy that I have been casually dating, how I really feel about him! It worked! He feels the same way but didn't know how to say it! I just turned 55 in January, and wonder where all the time went! Having said that, I see this and feel young again! This music will never age, I’m watching in 2020 and wonder why this kind of music is gone. As I read someone wants to throw eggs at the radio, I want to blow it up!

Gary was very underrated, he certainly played a les Paul how it was meant to be played, REO were never the same without him.
I grew up listening to REO and saw them in concert about 4 or 5 times and every concert was kick @ss ❤

I was born in 91, I always wish I could watch their live concert while performing this song.. Then RUclips recommended this channel, i automatically subscribe. I'm not discrediting the songs nowadays, but the songs from 50's-80's were, are and will be the best for me. Best lyrics and melodies, it will really hit you hard. Firstly - not an REO fan.. A lot of Egos that day in London and Philly and a lot of re-writing of history on how good everyone was. This one is brilliant. The song. The moment played how it should be.
