As far as I’ve seen you haven’t done any with Mara Jade, very few with Satele, and most of the Ahsoka ones are against males. Let’s see how the ladies do!!
I was afraid that you wouldn't put in my additional info on Asajj's Force abilities. I mean, aren't Force Choke and Force Grip part of telekinesis? Maybe she could use those on Zannah. Meanwhile, Zannah had been able to fool the Jedi with a false light side aura, something pretty hard to keep up while in disguise. Let's not forget her spell of concealment on Ambria, which left a powerful impression on Darth Cognus a decade later. And I had no idea she could possibly use shatterpoint! I mean, it didn't seem like that to me when I read the books!
DarthWill3 I don't think Asajj could break Ventress' Force barrier, especially when Bane had trouble doing it himself. I thought it was a nice bit of analysis from me. In the novel it reads: “In her mind the next few seconds played out in a thousand different scenarios, each unique in its specific details, each a vision of a possible future glimpsed through the power of the Force. The sheer number of possibilities could be overwhelming, but Bane had trained her well. Instinctively, she collapsed the matrix of probabilities into the most likely outcomes, effectively allowing her to anticipate and react to her opponent's next move even before it happened.” That sounds a whole lot like shatterpoint to me.
Darth Zannah did kill her master Bane in the end apparently in a duel and I believe it was implied that Darth Bane was above Darth Vader now this claim if it holds weight is weird because it was stated by George Lucas that Vader was 80% his master's power and it creates complications with the scaling as Bane would be somewhat relative to Sidious who is stated constantly to being the strongest of the sith im open to other's opinions on this as in not sure on the Bane is above Vader thing feel free to correct and educate me fire away people
If Vader is at 80% of Sidious and Bane is at 82% of Sidious then Bane is above Vader and below Sidious. No scaling problem here; Zannah only had to win once and she only has to be close enough in power to have a reasonable chance. She has also been training and planning for her duel with Bane for a decade (or more?), although Bane has also been preparing himself for everything she can throw at him. She doesn't go in until she thinks she is more likely to win, so she should be in the same general level as Vader and Bane.
@@stewartb1019 the whole vader is below Bane isn't 100% certain and Zannah would probably lose to Vader one reason is Galen Marek beat Shaaki Ti when she had the planet helping her and still lost and this same Galen Marek thought he was gonna die in a sparing match with Vader while Vader wasn't even trying and actually got bored (note this is a less experienced Galen who beat two jedi masters and a high council member and still wasn't even close to Vader) and in Canon the whole Vader is only 80 percent Sidious doesn't appy as Sidious said the Vader's quote "limitless potential is still intact." So he thought even after Mustafar Vader would still live up to the Chosen One potential and people still think the suit made him weaker yet there are numerous statements both in story, in guidebooks, and by author statements that the suit made him even stronger
@@dbzfan-ru6we He had the potential to become more powerful, but he didn't actually do it. Vader never challenged Sidious to become the master, so he was never equal to or above Sidious. Bane was above the power Vader actually reached, not the power Vader could have reached. Zannah measures herself as equal to Bane, then wins against Bane. That puts Zannah at least on the same level as Bane and Vader. Since Galen isn't on the same level it is fairly irrelevant how he performs against Shaaki Ti. Bane and Zannah would have absolutely slaughtered Galen in a fight, since they are on the same level as Vader. Zannah casually defeats Set Harth when she decides it is time for the "duel" to end, and Set knows he has no chance if she decides to kill him. Therefore Vader and Bane would also have easily killed him if they wanted to.
“Learn her lesson & exact her revenge” ?? Anakin twisted her up in a buncha cords and zapped her ass then dropped her like a fly, he ragdolled her after she gave him that scar. I wouldn’t exactly note that encounter as exacting revenge lol.
Zack Briggs We've recorded the next episode but unfortunately my PC is dead so I can't edit it. I'm uber-upgrading on Wednesday though, so it'll be up soon after.
Asajj is a warrior. Zannah is a sorceress. If you face a quick and sudden battle with Asajj, youd preffer it against Zannah, but if Zannah has all the time she needs to prepare the battle, she will be much more dangerous, IMHO.
He taught her soresu because it was the best form for someone of Zannah's build, other form like Ataru or Jeim So required more physical strength, a good Soresu user can use the energy efficient defensive form and good stamina to stonewall an opponents offense, capitalising on mistakes and tire the opponent out over time until the opportunity to strike a decisive blow, this is how Obi-wan was able hold his own and ultimately best the more physically strong Anakin on Mustafar, in a real world scenario I'd compare it to Ali vs Foremam in the Rumble in the jungle, Ali spent the whole match keeping his distance from the much more powerful Foreman, stonewalling and evading his powerful punches and wearing Foreman down with quick jabs and flurries until by the 8th round Foreman was so exhausted he all Ali needed was a few hard punches to put the man down for the knockout.
Ahsoka, Yoda, Shaak Ti, and others not named have a similar build as zannah(yoda even less) and they were all using Ataru and other saber forms. So your argument that Zannah lacked the strength doesn’t seem valid. Bane just made a mistake in teaching her Soresu as her primary form
To be honest with you I'm wondering if you aren't underestimating Zannah's physical abilities. Mostly because of the sheer ability of Darth Bane. I'd probably place Bane's level of Djem So with Skywalker's, albeit with more emphasis on strength. Granted Zannah's greatest strengths were her force abilities and her intellect.
+Antoine Bandele well to be fair sometimes figuring out who's power level is where can be a nightmare within Star Wars. Just...so much to try and figure out. Ideally, the Sith line should only have gotten stronger after Bane but it seems that wasn't the case.
+phantom115cw Ventress would kill the seventh sister in literal seconds of their blades being drawn. The Inquisitors are not that impressive as force wielders go.
Shade's Archives Considering Kanon managed to kill him..... Ventress would rip him a new one without even trying. I am just going to say this, Pre Visla would shit all over the Inquisitor in a duel. And he's not even force sensitive.
Shade's Archives The Inquisitors are not meant to go up against high level Jedi Knights or masters, and Asajj Ventress was capable of slaying Jedi Masters and defeated Kit Fisto, one of the greatest sword masters of his generation.
According to Wookiepedia, Darth Zannah isn't a user of Shatterpoint. So she wouldn't fit in with Mace Windu, Darth Traya, Satele Shan, and Luke Skywalker. However, even without Shatterpoint, she still wins in the force abilities department.
+Antoine Bandele Why? I'm aware it can be edited by anyone, but don't they check over all the edits and correct any false edits? Also they separate canon from legends so there's no confusion as to what's true or not. I just have a hard time seeing why it isn't valid as a source.
Sith Assassin vs Inquisitor. Zannah will buy time and begin casting spells. Only powerful force adepts can shrug off her spells . I wonder if Zannah can drive Vader mad and kill him? I know Dooku and Siduous will just shrug them off. Maul will be stunned
Yes but Dooku and siduous have insight on them. Her spells will affect them but not that effectively. Maul and Vader will be crawling on the ground as Vader will be haunted by the memories of his wife and past. Maul of his defeat and loss to Obi wan and Siduous.
Canon Anakin Skywalker versus Legends Anakin Skywalker from the Clone Wars era, just prior to Revenge of the Sith. I quite like the idea of pitting canon versions of characters against their original Legends versions. Quinlan Vos Asajj Ventress General Grievous Obi-Wan Kenobi Etc...
+Antoine Bandele will this new series be as detailed as possible in regards to the characters' overall history, assimilating legends and canon (for Star Wars characters) into a workable cohesive timeline? Something the new Lucasfilm Story Group could and should have done in the first place. I know you put lots of thought and research into each character of your VS series so I can see this being just as great for your regular fans as well as those who wish to know more about a specific character through an enjoyable format. My own attempts at a VS series are on hold due to technical issues, so instead I work on researching characters and writing down biographies for them
InvictvsNox Any creature that stands firmly on two legs and only uses their arms for reaching and grabbing things, and has more intelligence than most animals, it would be humanoid. That includes Rattataki.
also she developed her body like that because bane refused to let her learn anything else he also forced her to learn the saber staff over a single bladed saber bane didnt believe she was fit to use such a weapon and so he did not teach it to her she had to eventually learn that on her own
i wouldnt say zanna was brilliant i mean there were far more powerful sith sorcerers than her and she was taught a minimal amount of sith sorcery because bane was not a sorcerer and he didnt know much about it himself though he was a powerful force user considering his use of the thought bomb
I have a feeling that Ventress will win. Zannah can hold out long enough to use madness spells which in my opinion would be perfect against someone like Ventress. Though it could go in Ventress' favor as she is very sneaky and war experienced and would have some kind of plan to break up the defenses of Zannah. Which I think will be the key.
Luminara didn't really get her ass kicked, tbh. She held out for a good amount of time and it is a great showing of skill on her part, especially given the circumstances. And her technical mastery of the forms likely far surpassed Ventress at that point, it's just the pure ferocity Ventress had and her tactics that gave her an edge over Luminara when they dueled. In my opinion Luminara is definitely a top tier duelist in the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. I just had to get that off my chest, lol.
The Joker 10259 Eh. I'd put Luminara on par with Quinlan Vos, folks who were just below Council-level duelists. Luminara held her own but she decisively lost.
Antoine Bandele She is a Council-level duelist, though. She's better than some there already. I think they were dueling evenly until Asajj randomly lunged at her, which would've caught many off guard. Looking at the fight, I don't see any real obvious clues that any one of them were holding an advantage. Which is why I think they were dueling evenly. I'd put her just above Quinlan, but personally I feel he's Council level as well.
The Joker 10259 No, Luminara is not on the level of the council masters. Not like Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, Obi Wan, Skywalker, and dont even get me started on Mace or Yoda. Each of those masters that I spoke of blows Luminara out of the water. I bet any one of those Jedi would be able to beat both Luminara and her Padawan together.
Josh Campbell Lmfao. I didn't say she was on par with the Jedi you mentioned. She's superior or on par with Eeth Koth, Adi Gallia, Even Piell, Agen Kolar, etc. All of which are on the Council. And lolno, Plo or Ti would lose to Luminara and Barriss together.
The Joker 10259 Plo was such a good swordsman that Darth Maul thought he would be a worthy opponent. Plo Koon out classed and defeated Asajj Ventress with a BROKEN ARM. When he is a dedicated power duelist. So that made it even worse for him to be fighting someone on Ventress's caliber. But he did so with out any strain easily disarming her. Now if he had both arms he would have made short work of her. Now Luminara was defeated by a less skilled Ventress then the one who Plo Koon fought. (She had more experience.) Second this is without a broken arm, so he is in even better shape to beat them. Now I made a mistake in saying that she wasn't able to beat most of the Jedi on the council. I only listed the ones I knew, and those ones were more powerful then her so my bad.
I personally think Zannah being able to kill Bane is the biggest farce of the Star Wars universe. Everything else in ALL the stories at least make some sense but this is ridiculous...
***** Why does it make no sense for Zannah to defeat Bane? She was a powerful individual. People don't give enough credit to her dedication to Sith Sorcery.
Outmaneuvering Anakin Skywalker during the battle on Yavin 4? I think not. Even though it may have seemed that way for a time, Anakin only began truly focusing nearing the end of the battle, meaning your conclusion is utterly ill-speculated. Even if one argues that she temporarily did so, why did she end up losing the fight? She simply couldn't take it. Also, Anakin is seen displaying a greater aptitude in his force reflexes, unless that isn't part of your definition of "outmaneuvering", instead placing a poorly allocated focus on mere physical acrobatics.
according to the last fight with Bane. She lost. If you've read the last book if the trilogy. You would know Bane had hand tremors after losing the orbelisk armour in the second book. He tried to hide them from Zannah, but she noticed. At the end of the final fight. The new apprentice noticed one of the hands shaking as if from a tremor. In truth Bane won .
To those who think Bane successfully dominated Zannah with essence transfer: "You might think this is strange - an author “spoiling” his own work. But the truth is, I never intended this to cause so much confusion out there. I knew that no matter who won, Bane or Zannah, I would have people angry at me. But I didn’t want to take the easy way out and dodge the question. I wanted to provide a definitive answer… and I thought I did. Yet some readers are still confused, and I feel I owe it to them to provide that closure (even though I know some of them will be angry at me for killing off their personal favorite). So, who won the final confrontation between Bane and Zannah? I’ll be honest; I thought it was pretty clear in my writing. I wrote the scene from Cognus’s point of view to keep you guessing to the last instant, but when Zannah proclaims “Darth Bane is gone. I am Darth Zannah, Dark Lord of the Sith and your new Master,” I thought it would be pretty clear. The whole thing with Zannah’s hand twitching was only to show that some part of Bane had passed through to her. How much - was he still “alive” in some way, or is it just a small part of his identity imprinted on her - was supposed to be the ambiguous part. But I never wanted people to assume Bane had taken over Zannah’s body successfully." _Drew Karpyshyn_
Its me again luke green saber. Darth zhannah wins. my opinion her martial ability keeps darth bane of her combined with her banes heart saberstaff, form 3, and sith spells and she is not looking to beat you in the first place than pending on where the fight take place with a massive power boost its a long hard cake walk in the park she will by her time and unleash her sith spells then execute on offensive attack. she Beat Darth bane. DUUUUH
Zannah wins. Her defence buys her time and when she fires off a spell of madness vantess is screwed. Ventress is too unstable and has too many demons she will lose
Darth Bane trylogy with Tom Hardy and Dakota Fanning. That would be something...

So We should start sending "hate mails" to Disney. :D That`s how "Deadpool" turned into flesh; so why not Bane. ;)
I'd prefer Steve Austin as Darth Bane. He fits the imposing, miner build that Bane has.
the orbalisks help too.

That sounds a whole lot like shatterpoint to me.
Antoine Bandele
Kind of like Darth Caedus, right?
those books are useful. just finished dynasty of evil today.
Nicely done bro!
Mark Fair Thanks :-D
Random thought
But I want a star wars game like GTA but with the force and government and you pick dark or light
Antoine Bandele I thought Asajj's tattoos were night sister markings.
Spencer Payne In the main canon. But I feel that's a much weaker explanation of here tattoos than the Rattaka warlords she killed.
Awe ok
I get it
I'm sorry I didn't see part 2
Darth Zannah did kill her master Bane in the end apparently in a duel and I believe it was implied that Darth Bane was above Darth Vader now this claim if it holds weight is weird because it was stated by George Lucas that Vader was 80% his master's power and it creates complications with the scaling as Bane would be somewhat relative to Sidious who is stated constantly to being the strongest of the sith im open to other's opinions on this as in not sure on the Bane is above Vader thing feel free to correct and educate me fire away people
If Vader is at 80% of Sidious and Bane is at 82% of Sidious then Bane is above Vader and below Sidious. No scaling problem here;
Zannah only had to win once and she only has to be close enough in power to have a reasonable chance.
When's the next Council Forecast episode?
Zack Briggs I was not a part of the latest episode due to my having to work. But you could ask Reti4
Zack Briggs We've recorded the next episode but unfortunately my PC is dead so I can't edit it. I'm uber-upgrading on Wednesday though, so it'll be up soon after.
Awesome. I can't wait for the next episode.
How old was Zannah when she killed Bane?
Kevin Polucha Mid-20s.
Asajj is a warrior. Zannah is a sorceress. If you face a quick and sudden battle with Asajj, youd preffer it against Zannah, but if Zannah has all the time she needs to prepare the battle, she will be much more dangerous, IMHO.
Not a bad assessment.
meetra surik and revan vs exar kun and ulic qel-droma
Urdnot Wrex Revan's team stomps.
are you serious
super old video but why exactly did bane teach soresu to zannah instead of ataru or makashi
Not to mention the force is used to bolster strength, agility and dexterity
I like Asajj alot but think Zanna would win,she was a Sith Lady.
Oh I definitely feel like Zannah was underestimated here.
+Antoine Bandele well to be fair sometimes figuring out who's power level is where can be a nightmare within Star Wars. Just...so much to try and figure out. Ideally, the Sith line should only have gotten stronger after Bane but it seems that wasn't the case.
what is the opening music piece called
Adam Rabin Darude Sandstorm :P
Sith battle Royale who would win?
No sith soldiers or non sith dark side users.
My bet would be on Vitiate, but Palpi or Plagueis may stand a chance too
Lol 4:44 tough cookie hehe
sjeason Yeah when I was re-watching that I did a facepalm* . . . it's a silly remark.
*tuff cookie
Anyone know where I can find that comic that kept on showing up about Zannah?
.getName("Dan");
Jedi vs. Sith:

Antoine Bandele Thanks :D
Zannah is such a great character, both of these women just give me life.
We need Bethesda to make a Star Wars game like the elder scrolls!!!!!
leon murray I forget who but someone is making an open world Star Wars game.
I think it would be even more awesome if CD Projekt Red would make an Star Wars Open World RPG :D
MPPRODUCTIONSger Or Rocksteady.
Fallen order
At least I hope its open world
After listening to the Darth Bane audiobooks I think Zannah would distroy Ventress.
Wasn't Asajj a Rattataki?
In the original legends continuity.
seventh sisters is my favourite villain in star wars rebels.
let do seventh sisters vs ventress
+phantom115cw Ventress would kill the seventh sister in literal seconds of their blades being drawn. The Inquisitors are not that impressive as force wielders go.
+Josh Campbell how about the high inquisitor vs ventress
Shade's Archives Considering Kanon managed to kill him..... Ventress would rip him a new one without even trying. I am just going to say this, Pre Visla would shit all over the Inquisitor in a duel. And he's not even force sensitive.
Josh Campbell
just saying it would be a better match
Shade's Archives The Inquisitors are not meant to go up against high level Jedi Knights or masters, and Asajj Ventress was capable of slaying Jedi Masters and defeated Kit Fisto, one of the greatest sword masters of his generation.
According to Wookiepedia, Darth Zannah isn't a user of Shatterpoint. So she wouldn't fit in with Mace Windu, Darth Traya, Satele Shan, and Luke Skywalker. However, even without Shatterpoint, she still wins in the force abilities department.
Wookiepedia _is not a source_.
+Antoine Bandele Why? I'm aware it can be edited by anyone, but don't they check over all the edits and correct any false edits? Also they separate canon from legends so there's no confusion as to what's true or not. I just have a hard time seeing why it isn't valid as a source.
According to Wookieepedia
Wookieepedia best source, is my religion, I identify as a Wookieepedia, don’t diss the lord Antoine.
Ventress was a female Human-Zabrak, like Maul and Opress, which is interesting because she was originally supposed to be a Rattataki.
Caoilinn Hughes I've still not seen a direct source that says she was a hybrid, especially since she has no horns.
Sith Assassin vs Inquisitor. Zannah will buy time and begin casting spells. Only powerful force adepts can shrug off her spells . I wonder if Zannah can drive Vader mad and kill him? I know Dooku and Siduous will just shrug them off. Maul will be stunned
Not even Bane could shake off her Force spells. And he knew exactly what she would attack him with.
Yes but Dooku and siduous have insight on them. Her spells will affect them but not that effectively. Maul and Vader will be crawling on the ground as Vader will be haunted by the memories of his wife and past. Maul of his defeat and loss to Obi wan and Siduous.
+Antoine Bandele he did break her spells but not immediately
Woo! Darth Zannah is my favorite Sith!
Canon Anakin Skywalker versus Legends Anakin Skywalker from the Clone Wars era, just prior to Revenge of the Sith. I quite like the idea of pitting canon versions of characters against their original Legends versions.
Quinlan Vos
Asajj Ventress
General Grievous
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Etc...
I've thought of making a separate series . . . not for VS but just for characters in general.
My own attempts at a VS series are on hold due to technical issues, so instead I work on researching characters and writing down biographies for them
Why say "near-human"? Just go with the term "humanoid". It's alot easier to say.
TheRyumancer Good point.
Antoine Bandele
But hey, your videos are good anyway. So keep it up. :)
+TheRyumancer I thought she was a Rattataki...?
InvictvsNox
Any creature that stands firmly on two legs and only uses their arms for reaching and grabbing things, and has more intelligence than most animals, it would be humanoid. That includes Rattataki.
TheRyumancer
Well yeah, but why not specify? Humanoid is so vague.
*as HIS own
also she developed her body like that because bane refused to let her learn anything else he also forced her to learn the saber staff over a single bladed saber bane didnt believe she was fit to use such a weapon and so he did not teach it to her she had to eventually learn that on her own
Actually it's because of her build that she was limited to form 3, she didn't have the build for power based lightsaber forms
My dude.
sinistavoicez ;-)
While most of TCW is ok, Asajj's background is non-canon. She's not supposed to be Dathomirian
BoltSurfer According to main canon . . . she is . . . unfortunately . . . Dathomirian.
didnt darth bane transfer his energy into zannah, meaning zannah is actually bane
Nope. He attempted to. And he may even have partially transferred himself. But Zannah retained her consciousness.
oh ok thanks Antoine Bandele
More
I like how Ventress should win, she’s bigger and stronger, more lightsaber experience, but Zannah can turn her mind against her.
more
i wouldnt say zanna was brilliant i mean there were far more powerful sith sorcerers than her and she was taught a minimal amount of sith sorcery because bane was not a sorcerer and he didnt know much about it himself though he was a powerful force user considering his use of the thought bomb
When did bane use the thought bomb I thought Kahn did that
+Bacon Lover Bane manipulated Kaan into doing it
Bane set kaan and the brother hood of darkest up to kill themselves
She learned the spells that were in Freedon Nadd's holocron and it's implied that she sought out other Sith teachings/holocron's much like Bane did
can the hairless harpy do sith sorcery? Nope don't think so!
But she was familiar with Nightsister magics.
guess so. honored you actually replied to that btw your videos are amazing to the point of mastery
she is a Rattataki. most of the nightsisters are
Eh . . . officially in canon they are dathomirians.
Antoine Bandele eh. Yet Zannah is legends
Though it could go either way.
lovefrompraha ;-)
Well damnit Antoine. How dare you be right all the time in your videos you create ha ha.
Isn't ventress a zabrak
She is not. Her people mate with them regularly though.
Guys, how did Darth Zannah die?
There is no source or book that states the specifics of her death. But most likely she was killed by her apprentice.
Ah, I checked, and starwars.wikia.com/Asajj_Ventress says she is a Dathomirian, I don't know how much (or if ya even do) trust Wookieepedia
+Mac Darf Always look up sources, not Wookiepedia. But in canon, Asajj is a Dathomirian, yes.
+Antoine Bandele Yeah, I get that a lot
Zanna would destroy Asajj in a physical battle. What does Asajj do if she can't get through her opponents defense that is held up with minimal effort?
Haha, don't think you can just sneak a Magic the Gathering card and pass it off as Star Wars art with this crowd. We're nerds after all.
Antoine Bandele It just never sat well with me that's all...
12:05 green guy looks like Trump
Outmaneuvering Anakin Skywalker during the battle on Yavin 4? I think not. Even though it may have seemed that way for a time, Anakin only began truly focusing nearing the end of the battle, meaning your conclusion is utterly ill-speculated. Even if one argues that she temporarily did so, why did she end up losing the fight? She simply couldn't take it. Also, Anakin is seen displaying a greater aptitude in his force reflexes, unless that isn't part of your definition of "outmaneuvering", instead placing a poorly allocated focus on mere physical acrobatics.
not enough female battles between Jedi females and in Dark Side females our darkside females and males intergender battles
according to the last fight with Bane.
To those who think Bane successfully dominated Zannah with essence transfer:
"You might think this is strange - an author “spoiling” his own work.
But I never wanted people to assume Bane had taken over Zannah’s body successfully."
_Drew Karpyshyn_
cool
Its me again luke green saber. Darth zhannah wins. my opinion her martial ability keeps darth bane of her combined with her banes heart saberstaff, form 3, and sith spells and she is not looking to beat you in the first place than pending on where the fight take place with a massive power boost its a long hard cake walk in the park she will by her time and unleash her sith spells then execute on offensive attack. she Beat Darth bane. DUUUUH
Ventress was a Ratataki
In Legends yes. But even before the Legends/Canon split the reigning continuity was that she was a Nightsister.
Zannah wins. Her defence buys her time and when she fires off a spell of madness vantess is screwed. Ventress is too unstable and has too many demons she will lose
Zannah was a lady of the sith
I like clone trooper Vs storm trooper
+Alex Pérez Gilabert That's a really bad match. We know that Storm troopers can't hit the broad side of a barn.
Bob Kolterjahn
jajajaja very good, the Stormtroopers have got a "Stormtrooper Efect"
Rain.
ventress was a witch
ventress never technically dies
Spoiler Alert
She dies in the canon novel _Dark Disciple_
Oh may she rest in peace
the are plenty of females in the Star Wars universe to draw from
