This was a National Championship caliber team. Damn you Cooper!!
I remember saying that few times in the 90’s LOL
Pitt had a tough schedule in '93 . Their first five games and their seventh game were against teams who were undefeated at the time ... they played Miami (9-2) Ohio State (9-1-1), Notre Dame (10-1) and West Virginia (11-0) in the regular season ... they also played Virginia Tech, Boston College and Louisville, who all went 8-3.
216-45. Avg score of 54-11.25. Pitt was our bitch in the 90's.
This was a fuckin National Champ team...Cooper dammit
This is why Mark May hates the Buckeyes.
i loved this group..they were lining up Glenn and Galloway...lol they were fun to watch...
what I liked back then was how the return man (punt or kick-off) had to know how to run or they WERE going to get hit !
Haha, the game that turned Mark May against us ;)
Mark May, u mad bro?
Damn, buckeyes had their back ups in , in the 2nd quarter! I don't think I've ever seen that?
Pitt also allowed 63 to Virginia Tech before this. Furthermore, Pitt was winless at home all year and only one loss was close (Syracuse).
who cares about pro football there is no competition because they get paid. they dont care if they make a catch they are still getting paid millions or they miss a tackle, it doesnt matter cuz they are making a lot of money per game. college football is better because of the competition and ohio state is one of the most prestigious programs in the country
Raymont Harris and Jeff Cothran was an outstanding backfield.
Once again Cooper out coaches himself out of a National Championship!!!! Only team more talented was probably Florida State
@Artemis, quit being so hateful, you're putting a lot of time into it. I'm sure if you bothered to tell us what team you root for, we could google up dozens of final scores showing your team getting throttled too. When your team's been around for over a century, they're bound to have some down years. But we are glad to know that our team is elite enough to have earned such hate.
I didn't know Randy Moss' brother played at OSU?
Woulda gone to the rose bowl if we wouldn’t have had that damn tie with Wisconsin
I'm not a fan of either team but pitt's tackling was horrible!
Hoying [ not sure that's right ] but it certainly isn't Horeing
You have turn on closed captioning..too damn funny
Man was bobby hoying a buckeye great
Anyone have the full game? And the Washington game?
Pittsburgh-Columbus would make a great annual rivalry
You misspelled beating ;)
@@nospam3327 "Pittsburgh-Columbus would make a great annual rivalry." Where do you see beating in there?
@@ErikSchneiderUSA Sorry, it's a joke. I'm saying you "misspelled" beating r-i-v-a-l-r-y. I don't think it would be much of "rivalry," tOSU has been in the top 5 in the country for the last decade or so. Pitt, not so much.
@1:15 hahaha looked like the defender was scared to tackle him
those are probably the ugliest Pitt if not of all uniforms ever created
I-O!
LOL;and only 1 for Pitt after WW2.
Is this the Ohio St. team with all the NFL busts and the 2 quarterbacks who were backups in the Arena League? Just kidding(well sort of).
Well, fwiw, the guys scoring on Pitt all day long, Eddie George and Joey Galloway, were quite successful in the NFL, and several others, like Raymont Harris and Big Daddy Wilkinson, had pretty successful journeyman careers
