i think there could be a lot more to this story,really all you need to do is have bulma make a new and improved dragon radar that cam locate dragon balls in the galaxy and find new namek. i am sure the namekians would let Gohan use their dragonballs and bring back those killed by the androids and fix the damage to earth. and who is to say the story needs to follow the same routes as canon. plenty of room for creative license here...

This story was epic. It reminds of how Gohan was torturing Cell after he turned SSJ2
RipTrunks, I think this is a good enough ending for now, the only threat left is future cell whose in his imperfect form and at this point Gohan could destroy him without even trying. Considering the level of power he just reached

I agree. HE would have also been smart enough to consider "New Namek" for the dragon balls considering he doesn't have any worries about the Earth being in trouble & him being gone for some time. I've also always wondered if he took the dragon balls from the past to the future, would they still work just the same or does a Namekian God need to be present. Hmm...

come to think of it, when future trunks went back in time, couldnt he have gotten the location of new namek from dende and the others? that way he can better locate it in his timeline and bring everyone back, or have supreme kai help. plot holes everywhere.

@@ShaqJizzle33 no those rings resemble the changes that happened in history that were not supposed to not alternate timlines. For example when future trunks killed frieze and cold that created a time ring.
That made buu 3 years early and the other created black or the God forms

Adding on, seeming how much toriyama has nerfed Gohan in little to no importance except him getting a somewhat crucial role in the Tournament of Power.
I really would like this to be continued just for the satisfaction of “what ifs”.
When I played Dragon Ball Z Budokai for PS1 I always loved the side mission “what if’s” they showed and this would satisfy any Gohan fan if this would be continued. *PLEASE DO* 👌🏿

Continued: Gohan approaches the lifeless body of trunks. He picks him up and holds him close. As Gohan sobs, his cries are so loud they’re heard around the world. Every living thing on the planet hears and feels Gohan’s agony. All of earth mourns the young warrior. Without explanation, small orbs of energy start emerging from all the souls on the planet and start drifting towards Gohan and the fallen Trunks. These orbs begin to disappear into the body of Trunks. Gohan sets him down and steps back, bewildered at what is happening. Gohan thinks for a minute, “where have I seen this before?” He remembers the spirit bomb technique his father had used so long ago. Gohan smiles, clenches his fist and says, “This has to work.” Gohan explodes into his ssj2 form and offers up his energy along with the rest of the life on earth. Trunks body is now beginning to float off of the ground as the light around him becomes blinding. A giant bust of energy releases from trunks and everything goes white. Gohan is thrown back and to the ground. When the lights subsides moments later, he looks back in trunks direction. There is a golden glow still to bright to see into. As Gohan sits up, the glow dims and he can see that trunks is now upright, still floating in the air. His hair is golden and spiked, but his eyes are closed. Gohan mumbles, “Tr Tr Trunks?” A smirk emerges on trunks face and his eyes snap open to reveal green super saiyan eyes….

It's really sad to see Trunks perish in this story, which has indeed left a bittersweet victory for Future Gohan. That said, it's a great story nonetheless, and well made on the plot too.

Man it sucks how in the actual timeline Gohan was actually just as strong if not a bit stronger than the Androids so in a 1v1 he couldve actually destroyed one of them but as a pair he couldnt do it. If Trunks could have held one of them long enough for Gohan to finish the other in a 1v1 they couldve teamed up against the one left and win.
Depends on the manga it was not like That future and present androids have the same strength just That instead of unconcious trunks missing gohan holding his own against both androids trunks was unconcious while 17 told Gohan That they had been just playing with him this whole time and hasnt Even used half his power then Powers up with a future Gohan left in fear and then the next panel has future trunks go and find Gohans body ......if it were the manga androids ssj2 future Gohan would barely Match them if not still be slightly weaker

@@ThunderNecros besides rage boosts ssj2 future Gohan ( manga ) would get slaughered by the androids yes he would 1 v 1 a full power Android but still be slightly weaker and they can outlast or outnumber him realisticly without increasing his base power future Gohan would need ssj3 to kill the androids ( manga )

Bulma would probably understand that Gohan couldn't make it in time to save Trunks so all she could do is depend on Gohan for the peace of Earth.

I would love to see a continuation of this. Maybe since Trunks passed on, a child far before his time, Goku would actually interfere and try to get hold of Gohan from the afterlife to direct him to Namek for the Dragon Balls. Or Vegeta would just make Goku do it..lol

You know one of the many reasons I love Dragon Ball Heroes? So many what if scenarios are covered. And now, so is this one. Only in dbh, they killed future Bulma as well, and Gohan ended up losing his way.

Story to finish off Cell if that can be done. A story where he travels to where Namak is at, and see if he could use the dragon balls to wish for earth to be restored.
Really sad, and absolutely in character, story... very nice work as usual! This opens up a lot of possibilities, Bulma will probably work on a Spaceship instead of a time travel machine to reach namek and wish Trunks (and maybe the Z fighters) back to life

I have been thinking of a story for a while, and its about yamcha, after being left out in the tournament of power, a spark ignites his comeback to martial arts, he wants to show all z fighters that he is no pushover who should be underestimated, he already begin training his great wolf fang fist in secret when they all return back only to reveal his training later on. Its just a short summary, I would love to see something like this from you. Again, great work Arj👊❤

Second : this needs a continuation when Gohan travels back to the past and saves that timeline , as well as learning where new namek is and reviving everyone killed by the androids
And lastly : this version of Gohan is way more scary than ssj2 teen Gohan
The super Saiyan form taps into pure rage and primal instinct. It can change your personality as stated in the canon series. This version of Gohan should become cold hearted with his Suoer Saiyan 2 form being stronger than Majin Vegeta’s canon form
