Судя по виду этот мост ремонтируют так же регулярно как и меняют резину или масло ,норм , а если судить по сварочным швам там весь мост собран из разных частей как Лего
Да, мост вареный перевареный , металл от таких процедур имеет помимо "усталости" ,ещё и "отпуск" от перегрева в хаотичных местах.
Пластина усиления не поможет. Этот мост теперь постоянный гость в этом индусском СТО 😂

Looks like he was using a arc cutter and a arc welder. Must be 230 volt? Why don't they use Tig?
Guys, think. If it’s cracked through 2 centimeters of cast steel, is 7mm of old ship side going to suffice? And most of the stress is shear stress along the vertical sides. There’s not much benefit from cladding the topside. This is mostly lipstick on a pig.

I’d say that there’s a lot of porosity and lack of fusion in the welds on this repair. They should have used that 7” grinder to clean the entire surface of that crack of previous welds and slag from opening up the crack. I did see porosity in the weld of repair. It’ll be repaired again in 10,000 miles.
Yeah ! They no excuse for that ! Isn’t difficult to clean the axle and the crack ! But everybody in com say « oh yeah that fokin great ! » « poor people do better whan us » or « im so impressed by their talent » !

Should have still added covers on at least three sides. The cross pins are okay but they don't add the support needed for a complete split like that one. 😢

Basically he is repairing a previous repair. First task on a repair would be to clean the workpiece. The welding is crap! So many inclusions.
Sure glad it's not mine. Didn't even bother to grind a V into it so they could get some penetration. Will last 1/25 as long as it should.

They are hard workers for sure, this is a waste of time. Could you imagine if they were trained and working in a good shop.
I predict this repair will not last for even 1 month. Worst repair I have ever seen. They did not even clean the area before welding. It is going to fail and it is going to fail very soon.
Hey foo it’s Pakistan they don’t have a truck parts store at the corner no sr these guy will fix it and it will last u say month I don’t think so depends on the weight and as you should know they over load there trucks constantly so I give it a soiled A

I predict you've never stick welded before... a 6013 rod running at high amperage could care less about the area being "cleaned"... this is an expert repair... the new owner will probably overload it again, but that's not the fault of the mechanic
@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROADBS.if you can clean it you should clean it, they can but cant be bothered. This is heavy load bearing part and should be well prepped and properly welded.

The trucks must be so overloaded and the roads so bad to incur such damage to the axles.
They left the grease to help lubricate the welds...life is cheap in Pakistan.
По хорошему нужно было на пластине которую взяли для усиления моста по середине прорезать отверстия и там тоже проварить сварочным аппаратом ,вот тогда мост бы точно больше не сломался

For that axle to reak like that the metal that it is made from must be rubbish , it is obviously not strong enough to take the stress it is subjected to , repairing it is papering over the cracks , it is not worth repairing 😢😢😢😢😢😢

Сварщик конечно красава! Приварил пластину к мосту. Усилил типа. Теперь он точно будет долго работать. Судя по предыдущим латкам, на неделю хватит.
Значит срезать сваркой дешевле😂

В чем смысл такого ремонта..??? Вы его, опять, вместо 5--7 тонн, навалите 20 тонн, а после сварки, корпус потерял 20 --30 % прочности..!!! И опять варить будете...!!! Попалите весь металл.....!!!! Потом только выкинуть на свалку...!!!

I'd class it as a temporary repair, my late instructor would not be happy with what I've seen here: it want last long, would of been better to make a mold and cast a new one, and then machine it to the required specifications. I'd call it a codged job at best.
