"My scream physically detaches from my body, and travels at a slower speed" lol. What a brilliant line.
And then “I am hit in the face by my own escream!” 🤣
Wild! 🤣🤣🤣

"cranked up higher than lightning" got me. Gonna use that forever now.
Gloves! Gotta wear gloves!
that "thanks for allowing me" didn't feel scripted
can see Kyle nearly breaking. definitely went off script or messed something up. he's SO damn funny either way
Definitely!
I think he started laughing at himself and had to take a beat before he said it.
@@johnsmi213 which then gave us the awkward look of love Kyle masters so well.
Kenan almost broke too!
This is Kenan's 1500th ever SNL sketch. What a record!
it's a miracle his back hasn't broken yet, carrying SNL for years.
@Raoul Duke hahaha dude Kel? Come on I haven’t seen him in anything since Good Burger.
Makes sense for a guy who started out on a sketch comedy show when he was 14.
Honestly the French bathtub sketch still holds up.
@Raoul Duke Or Jerry Minor or Finesse Mitchell.
Any Kenan sketch from All That >>>> Any Kenan sketch from SNL
“Trust me, there is no god” was so damn funny. Oscar is fantastic, and clearly is happy to go along with crazy ideas
I half expected him to start talking about some crazy afterlife he saw.😂
That line was perfectly delivered 😂

@2:46 Growing up in Soviet Union that's exactly what I was told to believe. An oxymoron really. An atheist government tells you in what to believe....Anyhow....
I was getting ready to go out with my dear Mother when I looked down and saw two choices: my new fancy cloth overed boots or my little green rubber boots. This gentle voice in my heart told me to put on the rubber boots. I was about 9 years old then. I put them on and skipped hopped after my Mom.
When we were crossing a bridge on foot after the sun already set I looked down at my feet in amazement as sparks were flying everywhere. Only when I heard my Mother's screams I realized that I stepped on a downed industrial grade power line. Should I mention that in Soviet Union normal power range is 220 volts unlike in the US (120v).
I walked away unharmed, with a black spot on my boot as a reminder that there is God and He loves us very much!
Today I know Him personally and by His promise I live!
Get to know your God while you still can. You won't regret it.

Kyle’s delivery of “that’s a whole different kind of pool” at 1:34 was so good that he cracked himself up. What a guy.
Only it wasn't. And, incidentally, it didn't,.
@@michaeltudyk8660 - Thanks for the analysis captain literal. You could see that both Kyle and Keenan were trying not to lose it.
When people use the phrase "don't be that guy"......YOU are that guy.
Oh no he got me.
He “hehe” wasn’t him breaking. It was clearly in character. His character clearly went through a soft trauma and some people joke about their misfortune, to be able to better cope with it. That “hehe” was it.
@@FishoD They’re not talking about the “hehe”.
They’re taking about the moment where he and Keenan stare at each other and Kyle clearly is trying not to break cause he cracked himself up.
Also, nice job liking your own comment, little buddy ❤️
Oscar killed. So many characters that all suited him great, and this was his best one.
"Its just wires!" lol hell yea.

Yeeees 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was literally crying from laughing. I watched it over and over.
"Thanks for 'coming' Tommy."
"Thanks for allowing me."
That reaction from Kenan when he realized his words were taken out of context was priceless.
Oscar Isaac is just so effortlessly funny.
and I keep remembering how much I hated him in Sucker punch. Now, that’s range
Oscar Isaac is so amazing. I didn’t expect him to be as funny as he is..👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
He needs to host SNL again, stat
@@cme2158 same
who is oscar isaac??
Oscar can memorize lines faster than any cast member. Rarely looked at cue cards.
He's incredible!
For sure. Wow
It's impressive but also not the wisest considering they can change lines on the cards up to minutes before the show
Oscar’s entire bit had me crying and laughing this episode was just incredible

Haven't laughed this hard in a while I love him
"Heet in de face by my own eh scream."
Laughed my ass off! Brilliant line!
"I am hit in the face by my own escream!"
Oscar has been awesome in every sketch... I don't think he's broken character once 💯🌟
He is good. It would be better if they got him to break once. There’s a lot of power in a break

Oscar Isaac going all Cuban on this one! “Eye em heet in dee fayce by my ohn escreem” 🤣❤️ He is incredibly hilarious!

I honestly hope Oscar Isaac sees even some of these comments. He needs to know how well he did and how much people love and respect him/his acting. Great humor. Great guy.
"oh my God". "No, trust me, there is no God."
Oscar killed his bit in this sketch and I'm pretty sure his character was based off the cheap idiots my landlord pays cash to to fix complex problems in the building. They are why we don't use the elevator anymore.
The cheap idiot is your landlord not the workers 😉
ruclips.net/video/mWri3HzalIw/видео.html
@@betoflores9177 my landlord is the ultimate cheap idiot, you're right about that but every time those guys come here to fix stuff I see them in the basement playing cards and eating hoagies.
Oscar Isaac is an amazing actor but he always plays a character that is serious or intense. Who knew he was a natural comedian! This is one of the few times I've laughed so hard on SNL! Every one of his sketches had me in stitches. That Spanish accent is perfection! I felt like I was listening to a family member telling me a story, lol.
He sounds just like my grandpa. 🤣
Consider watching Moon Knight. His character in that… isn't entirely serious.
@@hellterminator I have watched Moon Knight. Good show. Love Stephen Grant.

@@amanda0419michelle You’re Right. Sorry. 😓😓😓😓
This reminds me of the time my dad installed the ceiling fans in our house. While the first one had a lot of trial and error, he eventually got the hang of it and proceeded to do the remaining five. So when we got to my room, I didn't have any concerns...until he electrocuted himself and fell off the ladder. We laugh on it now, but I was equal parts terrified and in awe of the spectacle. It was something out of a tv show.
*shocked himself
First off installing a ceiling fan isn't that difficult, the hardest part is probably putting the damn blades on after it's been installed, your blacks go to your blacks and whites go to your whites and then you grounded, and you can't get electrocuted on 110 volts all it's going to do is give you a really bad tickle in the arm, I've been hit by a 220 and a wild leg before those hurt, but 110 all it does is tickle me
@@beowulfmahoney8677 110 and 220? What century is this?

"No, trust me, there is no god." Usually I just smile or chuckle when watching SNL, but Oscar killed it. Multiple skits had me cracking up.
ruclips.net/video/mWri3HzalIw/видео.html
It makes me wonder if it's just the actors that they bring on the show that makes some of their skits lackluster.
Dude same. I died laughing, had to pause it, for some reason it got me so good
I love Kenan's character names, from Reese DeWhat to Gus Van Tant.
Elliot Pants!
Don’t forget Doctor Reginald Saunders

Obsessed with the full commitment of Oscar using a new accent for every character and skit
I've watched Kyle say "thanks for allowing me" like 15 times and i'm still laughing
is lsd no?
This isn’t a sketch. It’s warning for people who thinks that they don’t need a professional for doing something that is highly complicated.
Judging by the RUclips comments I've been reading, Saturday Night Live doesn't do sketches anymore. Everything's either a documentary or a warning or a reenactment of some horrible real-life event that feels more at home in a movie.
yeah, there are far too many people who think they can do anything, just because they saw it on TV or watched a video on YT. of course most try to do it themselves because it's cheaper (and a sense of superiority) but the funny thing is, once they mess up and need to call in the professionals after all, it's usually more expensive to fix than if they had just called them in in the first place.
I work at a home improvement store as a side gig and 100% agree. These are cautionary tales!
@Blia Yang Glad you find it funny. I find it irritating. Yes, we get it. Just admit that real life is stranger than fiction (always has been, always will be) and there are some things out there that SNL can't parody or satirize because it's too ridiculous.
Most of what they referenced in this sketch ain't to difficult to learn.
They were everyday job's anyone can do with enough time and skill.
If you can gain the skill to fix a toilet from a person.
Then you can learn from a human showing you on yt.
If you're talking about learning to build a whole house from the ground up.
Then, i might agree with ya.
Kenan just says hello, and we all giggle. He's always so funny, and we know it.
"And thats a different kind of pool" the timing on that joke is great. Love kyle
Ikr..it blanks on em alot
Oscar Isaac committed to every one of the characters they threw at him and gave them each a funny and distinctive voice. yay!
Congrats on 1500 sketches Kenan! From D2, to All That, to SNL. Always making us laugh. Appreciate ya!
Don't forget Kenan and Kel.
He was able to keep his gig through the years. Bless him. 👌🙂💜

He should get to make his own character like Aidy did.
Oscar Isaac is a future SNL "5 Timer" club candidate! He is solid as a rock in every performance!!! WOW Yes and Clokes_1977 and I think he would make a great James Bond!!! ;)
Yes! Very affable and naturally funny.
"This man sucked up a wasp's nest with a vacuum cleaner, and now he won't throw it away!"
"Well, it's a Dyson..." LoL
Kyle is perfect. And Kenan is a natural treasure.
Kyle got to correctly use a “cut to” joke!! 🤣 best sketch he’s ever done- the nervous energy is spot on
Oscar Isaac was amazing on this show! He should be on way more often, so impressed w his impromptu skills and comedic timing
After "Ex Machina", Oscar Isaac has always been one of my favorite actors. So good in this skit
Have you seen Inside Llewyn Davis? It's depressing but Oscar is so fantastic.
Kenan is the best....and I am 59 years old, having seen all of it from the beginning. Kenan, Akroyd, and Hartman, in that order. Because of his longevity, SNL IS Kenan in many ways. NEVER LEAVE KENAN!!!!!
Cut to I laugh SO hard, through a sheet of dry wall (this sketch), that my laughter physically detaches from my body and travels at a slower speed, so after I hit the steel support column (am doubled over and incapacitated with laughter), I am hit in the face, by my own laughter! FANTASTIC! (BTW, I love how Kenan can't help himself. He mouths along with the best line in the bit.) Whew!
I'm glad Kyle Mooney has shown up in more sketches over time. He's so funny.
That's only because Beck Bennett left.
Brilliant! This is the best SNL ever. The whole show rocks!! Thank y'all for interrupting this insane war. My emotions needed a reset, and y'all came through.
I don’t know why I find ‘Felix’s’ hand-flick at “escream” at 3:23 so funny, but I do!
0:08 they narrated “When your DYI becomes OMG” lol supposed to be DIY 😜
4:10 is it just me or is that color of green on that sweater just beautiful?
You’re in over your head graphics were a perfect start to a great sketch.. I kept telling my wife, it’s just wires. Cue the hilarity.
Oscar needs a permanent place on SNL. I would love to see more of him!! He is great!!
1:40 what a moment they shared here 💜
Hit in the face with my...

🤣
So true! My husband is a plumber and we need 3 new bathrooms and a ton of drywall repair because of a leak. Oh, and a new floor from an overflowing toilet.
Old sayings:
The carpenter's house is falling apart,
The plumber's pipes leak,
The mechanic has his yard full of cars that don't run,
The phoneman's phone has static,
Etc.
Kenan=legend, Kyle=hilarious - not even acting, Oscar=committed, Ego=twist👀🙊
Great sketch
The delivery of lines by both the guests were great! Really elevated some already good lines. That last “thanks for allowing me” from the pool guy was unexpected and risky and great. And Kennan plays the perfect kinda straight man.
Issac is amazing. He killed it as moon knight and almost everything he does in some truly expansive territories. And this is just funny AF
Oscar needs to be invited back enough times to be a five timer. He did a great job.
The electric segment was F'n hilarious!!!!
Did the opening song accidentally say "DYI" instead of "DIY."
Lol I thought I was the only one who noticed that
Yes. I don't think that was a mistake, given the twist ending with his wife.
Came here to say this
Yep. Coming from people who have never done a DIY in their life it makes sense lol
Do yourself in?

I think it shows how incompetent he is at DIY stuff and knowing his family.
That may be the closest Kyle has ever come to breaking character
Kyle's delivery of "thanks for allowing me" is priceless - so suddenly tender, and full eye contact with Kenan
This guy can do Christopher Walken
