- In Sydney on July 28th, my defamation trial against the ABC will finally in the Federal Court of Australia.

Exactly.. this most certainly highlights how incredible Souls that put up their hands to serve and defend our Country have not felt supported, valued or heard which has lead to our huge PTSD & high suicide rates in our Country.. The amount of people choosing to leave should be an indication of that & should highlight how they need to value and support better.. With these Stories where we are having to speak up and defend, it certainly puts a bad taste in the mouths of others and will most certainly affect recruitment for sure.. Thank you Heston for speaking up.. Those of us with voices most certainly must to help those that are unable due to trauma.. I am with youx
Heston, the whole process discussed here in the open is nothing short of offensive to you as leader and your platoon during missions, and shows the continuous lack of support to our combat specialists. That YOU hadn't been consulted and confirmed that no one in platoon was either, shows there was no detailed investigation. That gunner imagined his "chick chick boom" moment and ABC listened, how pathetic.
Thanks to you fellas and your service keeping people like us and those journalist that want to rub your nose in shit safe at home, if its not for our Australian defence force we are fucked, you boys have to do and make some of the toughest decisions in war and i trust you make the right ones to keep yourselfs safe and us at home. The way veterans are treated after they have put their lives on the line is the most disgraceful act of our Defence administrators and generals. I’m surprised they can get anyone to join the defence forces at all.

So nothing has changed in 100 years. The Australian media still going after defence force personnel from the safety of their own homes during and post, times of war. What a national disgrace. Have you got a go fund me page to help with lawyers costs, mate?

Every Australian taxpayer should be outraged at the ABC and the Australian Government for wasting public funds over this. Thank you for your service Heston, and every other serving personnel.
