Another Summer commuting film that's a bit different - it was pouring down! full on downpour!! but at least the rain was warm which was actually quite nice!
Derry boots, that’s a blast from the past. Ah a ride home from work in the rain, that seems to be the story of my life this year.
I thought i should film one of these wet commutes as it has rained a lot here this year!
You are a beast ! lol I made a comment on another blog where they asked for advice form "older" riders for beginners. I said they should start in the dirt. Your dirt bike experience I'm am sure, has served you well, and it shows on this ride and others. Great video. I can see you having 20K + subs in no time. Well done. 🥃

Morning Bruce, I don't mind the rain either, as long as you've got the gear on it's no problem, but agree with your there, you can't beat derri boots or wellies for total waterproof feet, but I just like wearing my walking boots and carry Oxford rainseal over boots in my bags, they're a bit clumsy but do the job .
And again the Classic 350 is ideal in this weather, proper mudgaurds that work,and the dark models don't require any polishing, just a hosing down 😅, to rinse the road muck off ,
And you can still give 'em some gas in the rain without getting into trouble, without rider aids and modes and all the other nonsense !

Derri boots that's a blast from the past , had a mate used to wear them in the winter on his bike getting to and from work 👍
Hi Mel, i still think the Stealth 350s are the perfect commuters, for all the reasons you mention and better still once shod with good trail tyres for country roads! 😁👍👍

US 35, Xenia Ohio. It's what you call a dual carrage way. They literally dug out and put in a tunnel for a bike path.
It makes sense for safety to keep them separate, it works well in Holland 👍
I thought I'd really miss my daily commutes in snow, rain, hail and fog when I retired but strangely enough, I don't 🙂 Great vid. Brought back a lot of memories, especially the Derry boots !
It makes my 3 day shift a lot better as look forward to getting out on the bike 😁👍👍👍
