Brooooo.. this driver has changed my golf life LOL. I was skeptical of changing, but was long overdue to change my driver. I bought a used STG that was hiding on the rack. Hit some practice swings and felt it was the one. I did have to tinker with the weights to get it to perform the way I want. I also changed the shaft to grafalloy stiff, and BOOOM it goes! Its def redifined LONG and Forgiving drivers! My last tourney I hit 70% of fairways in the middle, the fairways I did miss were all in play and just slightly off the "technical" boundaries of the fairway. Love it!
Just got one and the thing that stands out for me with this driver (and doesn’t get mentioned in any reviews I’ve seen in RUclips land) is the roll you get with it, it’s not as easy to hit as the Sim2 or the Epic Speed or the G425 but WOW is goes so well when hit properly, as Al said “Strike is Everything!”
Mizuno have been doing incredibly over the past few release cycles, and keeping the price sensible too. My driver is 11 years old now and new one will be a mizuno.
This really does seem like a driver for everyone providing you like the shape and sound..... Adjustability for all shapes and abilities, with the right shaft and loft this could be my next driver......perhaps!

I love the simulator but an occasional on the course reviews would be great. I really need new irons this year and I have never been fitted before so just a little about me before I ask to have you recommend some game improvement irons to hit when being fitted. I am 65 years old, 19 handicap. My biggest complaint is that don't hit my irons very far. 7 Iron = 135 to140 yds 22 degree hybrid 185 yds. My current irons - 2008 Callaway Big Bertha irons. I went into a golf hitting bay at our local golf store just before my total knee replacement surgery last December and tested a Taylormade P790 7 Iron. First swing.......177 yards. Second swing 179 yards. Technology is a wonderful thing. Thanks for any suggestions that you can offer. Again, love the channel.
Mizuno woods are far too overlooked. I've hit the JPX 900 with a graffaloy rocket prototype and the ST & GT180's and they're absolute monsters. Almost put one in the bag till I switched to the Callaway XR Speed in 2018 because the latter was so long and really stable. Great stuff! I do slightly miss the papa smurf blue since I do like a good helping of cheese with my stuff 🤣
The best driver I ever had was a Mizuno MP001 from back in 2005 or so... I won it on a bet from the golf course pro shop after driving a ball further than the shops manager with it....
I really like my 10.5 ST-Z. I don’t have the swing speed anymore for a tuned down low spin rocket launcher. Big AL is a beef boy though, he hits bombs.
Alex. Why not do what you said you wanted in the Sim 2 vid. Take a driver onto the course, play 18 and just try to pure bomb every drive and see how low you can score when putting it all on the line!!!

IT'S PERFECT! Got rid of my SIM and put the STG-220 in the bag. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! The STG sounds so nice and feels INCREDIBLY SOLID.
Only problem is it doesn't have a spaceship on it :/

Try both weights in the BACK position. Worked great for me. But you can move em all over. so cool.

Mizuno drivers are the best value on the market. Especially the X and Z.

Still have my mp-001 with Grafalloy BLUE shaft. Incredible combo. Been lookin for a driver to compare with it ever since. Til now with this one
