Going off what a lot of youtubers say is there is only incremental improvement each year, even each 5 years, so your call if the extra is worth it. I would concede it is worth being able to pick a shaft that suits you which is only in the new ones where I can shop.

I bought an STZ 5 wood 12 months ago. It's the best club I've ever bought. Super versatile, and it's my go-to draw, off the tee, if I want to get the ball in play around 220 metres. Great ball flights and very soft feel. Now I just need to find the cash to upgrade my SIM to this bad boy.

I thought my Cobra was pretty awesome, but the TSR just has that titanium smash to it. Nothing hits farther than a TSR.....nothing.

I have the mizuno stz from a few years back love this club it replaced my taylormade sim driver i my have lost a yard or two but im in the fairway alot more love this club.i need to try the stz 230
O my I have this but I can't get on with it only because the shaft is too light at 50g so I am already thinking of putting it aside and just getting the 230 but iv not read much anywhere if there is a big enough difference between the 2 to upgrade so either get new shaft for the 220 or get new driver What to do?

Might not be a huge difference in price between mizuno and the bigger driver brands when brand new, but mizuno drivers drop much harder than the others on the second hand market. So you can get yourself a better deal there without sacrificing performance
Mizuno need to work on their naming for the drivers. I’m a gear nerd that’s looked at and hit them many times and when I hear st230Z I can’t remember for the life of me which one the Z is 😂
Didn't understand the comment about price. In USA the Mizuno price is $499. The Titleist and Callaway are $599, the Ping G430 price is $549. So is the Mizuno the quality to price ratio champion?

Shaft length is a game changer honestly. I’m 5’11 but have long arms, and cutting my shaft down by 1/4 inch has me finding center face alot more than before. That mixed with the shaft I was fitted for has made driving alot more fun

@@Azai115 I have pestered them about fairway woods. Not just drivers. I wanted a 7 wood, they didn't offer it ( 2 years ago) so I went to Callaway. Would have liked certain wedges, again not in left handed. It's more than just drivers.
I feel you pain, being a lefty there are hardly any options in wedges and putters. The only shining light has been some very good bargains in clearance bins at times. There is a store in the UK that sells just lefty gear. Have got some bargains sent over here to Australia from there in the past
Stg220 still the best driver I’ve ever hit and that’s a bunch of them. Both weights back gives low spin bombs with forgiveness and great soft feel with dull thud sound, best of all worlds for me personally

I just got fitted for one of these. Well, I was going to buy a hybrid but had a go with this too. Tried 3 shafts and the right one just added speed. Clubhead speed from the shaft and more ball speed too.

On Trackman it certainly out perfomed my current set up - length and dispersion. But we all know the "It goes straight(er) guarantee" runs out the moment you buy it! 😂😂😂

I got the Cobra Speedzone in 2021. Great driver, but i tell all of you now. Nothing hits farther or feels better than the new TSRs. A guy at driving range saw my driver and wanted to test it. He liked it, but he set me up....lol He said...."try this one". Handed me his TSR3. Now im all fucked up in the head😂. TSR rules them all......😮
