Awesome Paragliding flight at St Hilaire, France

Calina and I have been driving around Europe in our self built campervan and paragliding where we can. While she has been working in the French Alps we went to St Hilaire (where they do the Coupe Icare paragliding festival) and did some flying for the day.
Unfortunately she couldn't get in her harness and missed the massive lift band you hit just after launch. I was a bit luckier and flew about 6km South along the ridge.
The wind was super strong and it was slow going coming back to launch. There were a few times where I thought I was gonna have a long hike back. But in the end I managed to make it back with plenty of height.
When trying to go a bit North I hit massive sink and in under a minute I was too low and had to head to the landing.
A beautiful place to paraglide.
The funicular is about 54 euro for ten goes up or 13 euro for one!
The location is on paragliding maps app and there is parking right next to the funicular, or plenty of parking next to the landing which is a 5 minute walk to the funicular. Also a few different launches to choose from depending on the wind.

Nice, How long was your flight without a motor?
Hope you can fly with gaetanproductions while you're in France!
I'd like to travel around North America or the UK next year in a camper van, still yet TBD

Just over an hour. Could have gone longer but I zigged when I should have zagged! Hey don't limit yourself to the UK, Europe is right on the doorstep and so much to see and do around here.
