I am looking for a solution that would work on more stubborn green wild growth with which the DUX EM408MP weed-whacker is struggling with. In your video, you are showing the use of soft ordinary grass. Would it be worth the investment for me? Thanks!
Hey Mate, I’m a complete Gumby with the line trimmer on the dux60, thinking the scissors would be the solution ? - no line issues When has the rotary scissors not been good for you ?
Thanks for the informative review! Was definitely wondering if the 500 bucks was worth the spend. Looks a lot safer to use around the edges and tight spaces than my trimmer setup (on 2nd or 3rd stage power with 3mm cord). Can get pretty messy and dodgy at times dealing with all the dirt n flying debris. This seems a solid addition. I'd absolutely recommend hooking up the harness and have it balanced centred for even weight with both batteries on. This makes any task requiring one or two hands free, quick n easy without needing to set tool down. Takes a few extra seconds to sling it on but trust me, it makes a huge difference over a big yard n your back will thank you dearly for it! Cheers!
You’re awesome brother!

Great comments 👍 it is a great tool
Can you use this beneith water to cut reeds?
I’ve purchased one of these and I’m getting less than 15 minutes run time with new 6 amp batteries. What run time is normal?
Do you find the scissors loud? In the video they didn’t seem loud at all…
Yes I do find them loud. I wear ear protection but think other people wouldn't worry.
Thanks for the reply…. How high do the blades sit above the ground? I would like to use this for edging 10mm reel mowed grass
Not too sure I think Ego make a blade that is very thin.
After dulling, damage to the blades, you need to buy a new device. No blades in the store.
Sharpen them with a knife sharpener?
