Announcing: The LittleBigPlanet 15th Anniversary YTP Collab!
Set to release on October 27, 2023, the 15th anniversary of the release date of LittleBigPlanet 1.
Your main sources must be something in or related to the video games in the LittleBigPlanet/Sackboy franchise.
I specifically recommend the sources in the LittleBigPlanet Stephen Fry Tutorial Collection (link above), which I curated and transcribed back in October.
Your entry should be between 30 seconds and 5 minutes.
However, I will give exceptions to specific entries that show high effort, especially collaborative entries.
Also, the same individual person, or the same collaborative group of people, cannot submit more than one entry.
This collab will be uploaded at 1080p60 16:9, with resampling disabled.
The Stephen Fry tutorials effectively max out at 720p30, and most of them are 4:3. (See the doc in the LittleBigPlanet Stephen Fry Tutorial Collection for more info.)
Meanwhile, Sackboy: A Big Adventure goes up to 2160p144, so I settled on 1080p60.
The deadline is OCTOBER 20.
This should hopefully give you enough time to get familiar with all the sources, since I know there's a lot to work with.
However, this may change if I feel like I need more (or less) time.
I'll also give gentle reminders about this in the announcements channel of the Discord server.
I have created a Discord server for this collab, where I will post reminders and announcements, and you can discuss the collab or whatever else you want (link above).
However, you MAY NOT share your entry there, publish it on RUclips, or share it anywhere else public before the collab releases!
To submit your entry, send a Discord DM to the "LBP15AC" account, which is one of the admins of the server.

OTHER RULES:
• Don't use video editing software that puts its own watermark over your video.
• Speaking of which, you should include your own appropriately sized watermark. If you don't, I'll make a generic one for you.
• Inappropriate humor is fine, but NO RACISM/SEXISM/ABLISM/QUEERPHOBIA/NSFW, and don't overuse any other offensive humor.
• Earr*pe and intense visual effects are only allowed in rare, brief moments.
• Don't use any copyrighted music that could get the collab blocked on RUclips (claims are okay, I'm not monetized). If you're unsure, either use a royalty-free alternative, or try uploading your entry to RUclips (privately) first to test it.
• Either way, let me know what songs you use (if any) when you submit your entry.
• Once your entry is submitted, I will judge it to make sure that it doesn't break any of the rules and it's not low-quality. (Specifically, overuse of "getting jiggy" jokes, "the eating tutorial" jokes, or AI-generated voice qualifies as low-quality. And yes, the eating tutorial is a valid source, even though it didn't originate in LBP, because that's what it's now most heavily associated with.)
• If you fail, you get two more attempts. If you fail three times, or submit too late, you will not be featured.
• If you are accepted, you can still modify/extend your entry before the deadline. As long as I accept it again, it will replace your old entry. (This applies to groups of people, too.)
Once again, the deadline is October 20, 2023.

Why not make a Little Big Planet 3 10th Anniversary YTP Collab and make sure do release it on 11/18/2024 which is LBP3’s 10th birthday and let’s have it have a lot more entries and have be as big as the Michael Rosen 77th birthday YTP Collab pls

@@BrandyCattle30 First of all, LittleBigPlanet 3 was not a highlight of the series for most people, being released with tons of glitches that ruined the experience for many people, and some of them still exist to this day. Focusing a collab on just the third game would also be weird because Stephen Fry doesn't narrate most of the tutorials like he does in the previous games. Second of all, there isn't nearly as much interest in LittleBigPlanet as Michael Rosen for YTP, so there's no way it would be as big as you're hoping.
