I can't ever imagine people nor growing up on this game. My sister and I used to get up at 4 to 5 a.m. on weekends just to play the game. We would spend hours arguing about who would be the leader and what games to play. I feel like without this game I would've been an entirely different human being. I am so glad I was given the opportunity to grow up with this trilogy
I remember back in 2012 wearing exclusively avatars with edgy shark tooth hair.. I haven’t played that game in sooo long and I love that I understand this, slap competitions were the best!
i was really young when i first played lbp2 (probably the youngest one here discussing my memories) and its kinda like that distant memory that haunts you. i was 3, or 4, or maybe around 6 down the line when i finally beat it. i wanna replay it now. just the feeling of beating the negativatron and the music at the end, it is a memory i will never forget, until im dementia ridden. ill always, ALWAYS remember the times i made a giant crab tear down a city of copy paste buildings and having the level be full and me getting scared because it was glitchy. then pretending that there was a war…. and becoming batman…. OH AND joining a multiplayer server on accident once and getting cussed out…good times. thank you, lbp :)
I'm 20 now and played LBP1 when I was 6 years old all the way up to LBP2, then I played that until around 2013. Until I stopped having fun, and yet ever since then I'm still completely obsessed with it. It's always on my mind and I just want to feel the same way I did in the beginning of it. I feel so empty these days and I'm not sure what it is, maybe I'm secretly autistic and it's my obsession but, It's been super on my mind lately, more than usual.
As someone who used to make banger creative costumes that got them a fair amount of acclaim back in the day, that "default sackboy" one hurt so bad because some of the really awesome terrain builders in our guild were default skins. ... I just wanna go back to 2010 and play LBP and minecraft with my friends after they get off work and I'm procrastinating studying for college exams... I just want life to be simple again. :( but we can never go back to the shire.
Literally! So true. Nowadays when I hear the ‘Orb of dreamers’ soundtrack, it pains my heart. All I can hear is my childhood memories, and knowing that nothing will be the same anymore. It’s just a burning memory as they say.
As a former og LBP player, i can tell the deities and what are the ins and outs of this game, and i can say that I’ve enjoyed LBP so much with my two brothers back in 2015-2016 times.. 🥺
I hope that it lbp 4 ever gets made it's servers are actually functional. I miss pod surfing back then and finding all the wacky and zany characters then I'm convinced weren't real people lmao
Bro that's one of the best LBP memes i've seen. I laughed for almost entire video. (i still have hope for LBP 4, it's been like 11/12 years since i first played LBP) still my favorite series
The nostalgia is crazy. I remember Christmas 2014, getting a PS4 and lbp3, gta v, NBA 2k15, and fifa 15, the vibes were crazy. Those games just don't hit the same nowadays
This franchise was my life in my teen years. I’m currently playing MM’s latest game “Dreams”. It’s fun, it has special events, it can do way more in creative mode, but deep down, it doesn’t match up to the real fun LBP was.
I remember playing the bunker level and having to keep trying over and over, I really miss the days in 2015 when I would just get on my PS3 nonstop to play story levels with my dad. I made so much friends, and almost all of them have moved on now... I feel really bad for kids who never experienced this game, I wouldn't be the same way I am now if I hadn't... My heart burns when I remember all my friends, and all the memories I had... Life is too fast :*(
I played the bunker back in December or January I think? I forgot how hard it was, the wheel. I cried. Then finally, I passed. I can't even count how long that took.
I remember when my friend and I couldn't pass that one level from "Canyons" xD LittleBigPlanet is an example of how one game can connect people from all over the world
0:08 this as a person who played LittleBigPlanet and a fan and play through the game and ace it this is 100% true because that level is pain and anyone knows it it's a pain But unless I beat it 2 times so I'm not going do it again I still have it on my PS3 And yes this is what feels like in LittleBigPlanet is XD
I loved this game when I was younger. And I still haven't finished any of the 5 games because I am too terrible at platforming to beat the final bosses
Don't forget the people stealing your creative costumes as their own. And the players who would spawn: • Nuke Machine that destroyed everything with it's shockwave •LSD Pills •Thermometer destroying Mech/godzilla •Monster can. •Flying red shark.
If I had to put my whole experience with all the Little Big Planet games I've ever played (LBP1, LBP2, LBP Karting and LBP3) in a nutshell, I would definitely review them as something a bit like this: LBP1: Great and humble beginning, creative campaign, amazing creativity, first sets of characters and community levels you could have fun and mess around with, some of which ultimately became classics and stuck around even after the release of LBP2 and LBP3. LBP2: Golden Age of Little Big Planet, favorite game in the series, awesome campaign, best and most interesting characters of the entire franchise, scariest villain in all of the games, who literally gave me nightmares in my sleep as I played through the levels (aka a literal vacuum cleaner). LBP Karting: most unique of all the games, a fun adventure, lots of crazy races with cars flying all over the place and various funny moments with explosives and other projectiles you could throw at your rivals. LBP3: most innovative, expansive and advanced game of the main trilogy, four new characters with special abilities, new power-ups, decent campaign with fairly well-made characters, incredible player-made levels which resembled the peak in creativity of the LBP community, the only main downside to this game being obviously the ridiculously huge amounts of bugs and server glitches that made it nearly impossible for anyone to play online with other people, including our favorite LBP RUclipsrs. Overall: Great franchise, lots of funny moments playing it online with my family and friends (especially when we slapped each other constantly), tons and tons of creative community levels made by talented players, and probably the most nostalgic game in my entire life so far.
I couldn't ace the Bunker for YEARS, and one time after months I decided to give it a shot and aced it first try. It was surreal to say the least. (That bit with the big spinning wheel thing was the worst, god)
Damn, I remember going crazy to get 100% on LBP and LBP2, and joining random players just to get the prizes from multiplayer areas, there was also a guy that was an absolute ace on that one insane Avalonia minigame with whom I teamed up with to get his help in beating a score high enough to get all the prizes there. I'm not even talking about acing the main levels, I have no idea where I had so many patience to beat two games like that, let alone doing it all over again when I changed my PS3 to PS3 Slim. The struggle was totally worth it tho, I genuinely enjoyed all those ultra fancy costume pieces and materials. 😂

It's not a platform game, it's a platform for games!
People explaining why H4h isn’t a communism trend
oh hey it’s the lbp slander king
I loved this game more than anything. H4H took me a moment to realise what it was. I had to dig deep into my memories to find it.
it was more like chain mail tbh, or a pyramid scheme...
