For some people this might not be the greatest quality of job but remember this , it’s an expensive job in a poor country , if this wouldn’t work , do you think these people would continue to have a job ? No , so it most definitely works , it isn’t pretty , but it works .
hamare engine q zayada nahi chalte jabke company ka engine ziyada chalta hai sirf kaam karne ka tarika difrent hai hammer say company valve check nahi kati na hi head per hammering karte hain pakistani system aisa he hota hay zabardast
Very satisfying to see the head reconditioned. Takes me back to freshening the seats, valve faces and seals up on my own engines. I was so fortunate having replaceable guides on both my small blocks Dodges and the Austin Minis too. Never had to deal with non replaceable guides and press in rocker studs like on Chevrolets. Porting the heads with my dye grinder was so worth it. Great work guys Malcolm Ottawa Valley
Brilliant to watch the way you guys rebuild and repair trucks compared to our western mentality of throw it away cause we think or can not be bothered to fix it.
I hear Williams is looking into outsourcing his F1 team to these guys next year, the cars might not win anything - but it will be a shiteload cheaper to run. Such precision craftsmanship!, I even saw a feeler gauge at one point!, imagine that?, what next - a torque wrench??
The rest of the world uses a seat puller so the counter bore in the head isn't damaged by prying the old seat out. Then they heat the head and chill the seats, which allows them to just drop them in place. When the head cools it will grip the seats, preventing them from dropping out when the head becomes hot. Beating the seats in with a piece of steel and a hammer guarantees a ruined head and dropped valve seats in the future.
didn't recut the exaust or combustion faces, didn't test valve springs for stiffness, didn't check valves for straightness, "tanked" in a about 3 gallons of diesel, didn't pull the cam gear during the whole rebuild, looks liked they cut new seats on a lathe instead of using proper hard seats .most of this doesn't matter if your goal is "working" but they would never get "working for 300,000 Km's" quality

Very different as usual continuing the theme of if in doubt hit it with a big hammer. And one with a dodgy head no less. Tolerances by eye. Low tech solution to a complicated problem. It obviously works or no business. Don't think they should sit by the phone waiting for a Formula 1 contract though.

These workers would be superstars in the US with their work ethic & skills.

nice work)
Ever think about maybe cleaning up the shop?
I was cringing at the lack of a vice on that drill press when they were honing out the new valve seats😮 I'm amazed they came out okay.

Они потом притирали. Даже если посадка кривая притирка все исправит только тереть дольше придется.
да он и колпачки не посадили до конца. для трактора пойдет наверное

My mechanic always installs new seats this way no complaints yet

Красавцы. Сделали по ходу за день. Особенно впечатлило засухаривание сверлильным станком. Смекалка. 👍👍👍

Formula 1 mechanics should be made to work under these conditions. Would make the race more fun to watch. Parts flying everywhere.

You torture the cylinder head.this is ugly.there are ways to do it proper with a low cost budget.
