Hog Trapping: We Caught SIX PIGS!

- Hey y’all!
This is left off from my last video where we set both traps off in the same night! We went ahead and got the big boar out of the trap that night, so this video is of the next morning when we went to get the other 6 we had caught!

Hanna your persona reminds me of my eldest daughter. So gentle and happy, always smiling no matter the event, ready to have a crack at anything (as long as it's no too dirty) Rarely gets angry and when she does it for very good reason. I love you guys good to see a girl hunting fishing and trapping with her dad my oldest daughter used to hunt with me but she's grown with her own family and hunts with her little boy when she hunts now he hunts with Pappy too and I love it but I miss when my girls were young and I was young but time marches on as they say so I enjoy watching y'all ! Course they all over down there Enterprise, Dothan and Ozark. Hauled seed taters into northern Alabama. Got a few running around the hills up there!

Hey Hannah I love your youtube videos, like the hog trapping, a tip for you, take a long hay hook and sharpen it up good and use it stuck in the under part of the hogs jaw and you can drag them a whole lot easier appreciate yall, love you!

This is the way alot of people in Louisiana, Alabama , Mississippi , and the Florida panhandle talk . In southern Louisiana people have cajun accents that sound very different than this . This is a pretty strong southern accent this girl has .

It is kinda messed up when you think about it but, you don't have to cover that blood up because they will actually fight each other for the opportunity to lick it up so if you leave it alone and watch the camera I bet they will make short work of the mess for you.

I would not shoot through the fencing, like he does. You’re going to destroy your fencing. Walk up to the trap slowly, use that ladder, if necessary and shoot the hogs from above the fencing. They’ll calm down once you get close and they’ll bunch up together. I’ve watched a lot of hog trapping videos. Perhaps the best channel, is the Jagerpro channel, which is pretty much the system you have. They give a lot of advice on that channel. The key to hog elimination, is to try to catch the entire sounder. So, for the first week or more, you just want to observe and count all the hogs. Re-bait the trap, as needed. Get them used to going in and out of the trap, and eliminate the fear some of them have of going into the trap. Then trigger the trap when you see all the hogs in the trap. There’s a few that might never go in the trap, and those are the ones you have to hunt down. Check out that channel!
