Badgers listen to Tawny Owls and snuffle for food - 17th August 2015

This video show badgers as we listen to Tawny Owls and they snuffle for food. The video was filmed on the 17th August 2015.
At the secret badger sett again, we are listening to Tawny Owls calling and watching badgers snuffle in the ivy to find the food we have hidden for them.
It is too dark for them to see any food below the leaves, but they can sniff the meat-based snacks from a long way off. They love meaty food, but love plain nuts and a few seedless grapes too.
It is getting towards the end of the summer; and the badgers are in a good body condition now.
