Akrivia AK-06 in Stainless Steel

Introduced in Baselworld back in 2017 for the brand’s 5th anniversary, the AK-06 ventures away from complexity and back to simplicity, with the sole focus of the watch on time-telling. It is the first watch by Rexhep Rexhepi that does not feature its trademark Tourbillon and with even the absence of a regular dial. Instead, we are graced with an openworked steel gray dial behind an almost invisible crystal glass that showcases all the components of the power reserve functionality. Blued steel hands contrast beautifully with the sober dial.
The AK-06 comes with an astonishing 100-hour power reserve, the indicator of which - a rotating plate - is located at 12 o’clock, the dedicated highlight position in every AkriviA watch. There is also a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock.
Though aiming to be a non-complicated watch, upon pulling the crown, the small seconds stops and resets to zero, a much appreciated feature that is quite rare in watches these days. This seconds reset can only be activated if the crown is fully extended.
Inside the 41mm stainless steel case is the manual winding AK-06 movement, developed, decorated and assembled fully in-house. It is set with 28 jewels as well as a jeweled single barrel power reserve. The movement has been meticulously hand-finished through the use of techniques such as black polish, Côtes de Genève decorated plates, rhodium treatment, hand engraving and handmade anglage.
This present model, in a stainless steel case is limited 25 pieces.
