Yes it was a low cost flight. I really don't know how a disabled person can get on one of these flights. I assume that the crew would help you. Hope you enjoyed the flight review! :)
El Al isn't a low cost airline itself but it owns 2 low cost companies,Sun dor which is an low cost company with mostly Charter flights and most of their flights are operated by foreign companies like Air Explore or El AL planes usually. There is also UP that is EL AL's try to make an ordinary low cost airline because of Ryan air,easy jet and such airlines taking fare bites out of EL AL passengers on routes to Europe,It failed miserably because the flight was a low cost airline quality but the price was still high compared to European low cost airlines. for example on the rout to Prague: RyanAir: from 16.99 euro UP:500 dollar!!!!!
Am I the only one who had a big box for several minutes in the beginning, advertising the return flight video? It was very annoying, I even clicked on it, hoping that would make it go away, but it didn't. I started several times and it came up every time. Took away from the experience to see the airport which is usually the part I like most about trip reports. Hmmmm... Something gone wrong with your links? It should have been a small box on the top of the screen. Otherwise, very informative. I have been thinking about flying El Al some time soon. It helps with the decision making.
