Great video! "Build theory-crafting" as you call it is what has kept me interested in D2 for all these years. That's why I'm super excited about D2R patch 2.4! I love to tweak and test new concepts, even if they kinda suck in PVP which is what I usually target. So with a patch that seems to shift a lot of the current pvp meta I think we who build testing/research will have a job ahead of us. Looking forward to seeing more build content, X!
Very cool! Passion is cheap but duel dream is a little hard to obtain for a filthy casual like me haha...Infinity+duel dream+zeal sure is a great elemental-melee combo
My question is if you're going for only a zeal build then why go dream instead of maximizing zeal damage and if you want to aim for holy shock then why have passion instead of crescent moon ?
@@Xtimus no thats not what i meant bro. I meant you are using passion to get zeal - i get it, but isn't zeal all about maximizing damage and why specifically holy shock combination. If you wanted more damage other items can easily give you this. That was my question or is it just a fun build you wanted to show ?
On players 8, i have to return to town and repair my weapon usually 3 times per chaos run. But to cut my dmg in half from a zerker axe to a phase blade doesnt sit well with me either.

Dream damage without synergies and without lightning mastery (an assa don't have any of those) do around 800 avg damage, and that before factoring any lightning resist, is pure crap, the build has 0 sense, so the answer to your question is, who cares dream add nothing to a kick build (the actual answer is yes, it works but as stated the added damage is extremely low)
@@kristopherleslie8343 nope. Tiger multiplies only physical damage, been playing combo sin since original LoD release. Zeal will apply to only the first hit, so it doesnt make any sense to combo. You have to use a normal attack to apply orbs, then zeal, which hits only once, then normal attack to aplly orbs and so on. Waste of time. Besides xtimus added 20 points in to venom and apeed up, both skills cant be used simultaneously. This build is a crap.

Physiacal damage. Still, you have a finishing attack with first struck of zeal. Doesnt make sense.
