For Western countries it was never very popular. The Warsaw pact countries had it a lot .Their theory was that in average every 30 km a river of channel or other water had to be crossed. What they really meant was that Elbe, Weser and Ems had to be crossed on their way to the Northsea.

the Lynx KF41 IFV should stick to it's 30 MM gun & IFV credentials . . . the 120 MM not suited to the Lynx KF41 or any IFV for that matter . . . the maximum calibre of gun on an IFV should be no more than 82 MM . . .
Greetings. You can experiment with unmanned turrets with 105mm and 120mm high-pressure cannons capable of launching ATGMs from the cannon itself. This allows firing Flecha, HEAT, HE ammunition, which are cheaper and more lethal, reserving the ATGMs for targets that are out of line of sight.

@@chandrachurniyogi8394 the Lynx 120mm isn't an IFV version, it's a light MBT with a similiar chassis (engine, track, sensors, driver seed...) as the Lynx IFV. it doesn't transport any troops beside the 4 men vehicle crew.

Russia has a puppet regime in Hungary. Obviously Hungary won’t be sending anything to Ukraine
