I can’t believe I just gave away my 6’x7’ monstera house plant. It was about 15 years old, and huge. It was just too big! I did not cut the tenticals, but let them grow long then wove them at the base of the plant. It looked cool. It was healthy too, getting partial sun, in a sunny double window. I used regular potting soil and then gave it Miracle Grow plant food once a year. I had to repot it a few times, only my husband could lift it. I kept my parlor ferns, one is about 5 foot tall from the pot, the other is 3 ft tall from the pot. I keep them groomed and symmetrical. My newest plant is a Japanese hedge, used in floral arrangements, and can be snipped like a large bonsai.
