Dipper's last message is so heartwarming. It tells us that somewhere out there, there's a place for each of us that makes us feel happy and special, just like how Dipper and Mabel felt at Gravity Falls. It tells us to adventure and to work to find it, our own Gravity Falls, because no matter what hardships you face on your way, you will eventually find the place and when you do, it'll be all worth it.
as a certified gravity falls nerd, I’d like to correct everyone in the comment section saying that gravity falls was supposed to have more than 2 seasons. Alex has stated MULTIPLE TIMES that the show was NOT intended to have more than 2 seasons. Disney didn’t cut him back or cancel season 3 like all of you think they did, it was his original plan from the start. Just wanted to say that! :-)
I swear this was common and known info by the fans haha but it's probably because of what happened with Owl House and since that has Alex Hirsch and his wife working on it people associate the two and assumed both shows had to deal with cancelation
It's 2023 and I'm still crying over this show ending, this show along with Regular Show and Adventure Time were my whole childhood and now they've all ended. I just wish I could go back to seeing them air for the first time again.
Regular show is returning🙏🏽 Fiona and cake seems to be successful (I think) and the book of bill is a major success the legacies of these shows will never die
I thought Disney only allowed a second season after the first one, so Alex had to shorten things and such. Then Disney wanted a third season after the second and yeah. But, eh, maybe I'm wrong.
@@Springdude11 Disney shows have this weird policy of 3 season sign ons and they only cancel them if they’re really bad. I also remember being really sad to leave this show. It was such a good show. It had humor, horror, and some heartwarming all mixed together perfectly. I was pleasantly this show won out over some of the anime on the poll. I wasn’t sure this would ever win a poll, but am so glad it did. Very happy the finale stuck the landing for them. I thought Stan regaining his memories might hurt their enjoyment of the finale, but it barely impacted their enjoyment of the finale.
Alot of people hate Mabel for running dippers chance but Dipper being his apprentice would be the worst outcome for dipper Alex literally says this about Ford in the dvd commentary "Ford’s great flaw is arrogance. He believes that there are special people, and everyone else… …That human attachments are actually weaknesses. The song and dance that he’s giving Dipper here is the exact song and dance that he gave McGucket back when they were younger - ‘You and I are different. We’re better than everyone else. We have a path that no one else can understand. No one else can do this.’ It’s a very seductive idea for Dipper, but he starts to be a little insecure. He kind of can’t believe it, and he’s sort of right to be suspicious, because while Dipper is a smart kid, Ford is projecting. Ford loves Dipper because he sees someone who will tell him ‘yes’ to everything, who will never challenge him, and who will do a really insane, dangerous mission. I know there are some fans who are like ‘Oh, this is a great offer! Dipper should just become a mystery hunter for the rest of his life, not go to high school, not go to college, not be around kids his age…’ But if Dipper had taken the apprenticeship, he probably would have gone the way of McGucket - Turned into a kind of insane, paranoid hermit with no friends, and just kind of losing his mind. So, it is a seductive offer, but ultimately, Dipper needs to try to learn not to grow up too fast.” So yeah dipper = Ford apprentice would literally suck bro
Without realizing, Ford is making Dipper qnd Mabel go through the similar thing he and Stan did and as both we and the kids see the older Pines aren't in a good place as a result being two different kinds of assholes with trouble understanding basic human support. Mabel and Stan having such dramatic responses makes sense as they're the ones who wanted the emotional connection while the others were too crazy over supernatural junk. If Mabel's a villain, then Ford is too. The dude needed to face the end of the world to realize that his brother was hurt living more than 30 years in guilt and regret. So yeah, it's for the best that this near doomsday event happened cause otherwise Ford would continue to not see shit and blind Dipper as well
I remember laughing out loud so hard when they switched cartoon styles, and then they just switched to the voice actors for a second.🤣 Best part of the finale.

Yeahh, she was pretty delusional and needed that reality check from Dipper
Gravity Falls was so good man. You guys should really check out Final Space, it's SUPER good!!! It seems like something y'all would enjoy
Also, Soos' gf coming back to work with him feels like this: "Hey, dude, I'm alone in the shack, wanna come? You can live here for a bit too, I guess".
4:50 stay away from her, *BURP* Morty
15:20 what i wonder is if these characters here turn on them and are becoming like bugs and stuff to attack them, are the pieces of the waffle guy inside sus's stomach also turning to bugs?
Dipper is gonna be sniffing Wendy's hat the whole ride home.
it's been over a decade when this show first started, and it's still pretty good
6:56 *when the ediables start kicking in*
To be fair, there are many moments of people falling from rather big heights and come out of this unharmed for the most part. Like, if I fell out of my window on the 2nd flood I'd probably break something important or even, you know, DIE.
Bro when the six finger guy threatened the bus driver with a gun I started to laugh so hard
Pacifica is actually the llama because in the episode northwest mansion mystery, we see paintings, and if you look closely, you see that their are actually llamas in the paintings. As well as this, there are a lot of Easter eggs in the show that link Pacifica to the llama
Series suggestion: Invader Zim

YES! I've been waiting for this moment. And I LOVE the title!
The gibberish bill says when dying is actually backwards which says:
A X O L O T L
MY TIME HAS COME TO BURN
I INVOKE THE AINCIENT POWER THAT I MAY RETURN
For suggestions: Bojack Horseman. You guys would probably have a good take on the blend of deep but also messed up stuff
The look on their faces after "And love" made my day
Don't know if you fellows will see this comment, but I'll just throw in my suggestion for a show: All Hail King Julien.
Basically, it's the prequel to the Madagascar series, and it's absolutely off the walls... like, constantly. There's 6x13 episodes, so I understand if you don't want to make the commitment, especially since the show is much calmer toward the beginning.
But hey, what else suggestions are for!
Alex made a tweet and instantly deleted it about Gravity Falls last month which is very likely to be about another season
