- Egg bread or Gyeran Ppang is a common street food you will often see in Korea. Often sold as street food in food carts, these fluffy delicious egg breads are only around $1 to $2. Some have bacon or ham and some are sweet like french toast. A perfect breakfast, lunch, or dinner because of how filling just one can be.

1/2 cup all purpose flour or cake flour
1/2 cup milk
2 tbs sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbs melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg for batter
1 egg per mold
black pepper
parsley
Egg Bread Recipe:
1. Mix flour, milk, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla, 1 egg, and slowly add in melted butter until no lumps are in the batter.
2. Fill up a mold up 2/3 with the batter
3. Sweet Ver. Lightly beat an egg and add it on top, season with salt
Savory Ver. Add cheese, ham or bacon, and lightly beaten egg on top
season with salt & pepper
4. Bake at 385°F or about 200°C for 15 - 20 minutes
5. Garnish with sugar, parsley, syrups, anything you like!
Tips:
Use a toothpick to poke through the egg bread, if it comes out clean then the bread is ready.
Using cake flour will make a fluffier bread!
Any type of baking mold would work! Just adjust time needed.

This look so good... delicious and pretty food are always a winner!
😋It is my favorite street food in winter season!
It is interesting to see a different way of making egg bread, in South Korea, they put full egg without beating. Yet I believe it will be cooked well in your way. Even with cheese and bacons, sounds really good. Thx for sharing :)
