Unless you are buying a Toyota or Honda, they build them so cheap they are going to all be in the junkyards in 10 years because nobody's going to want to be putting a new transmission in your Equinox or Traverse when they fall apart after 100,000 miles. They already have major issues with their transmissions and cheap plastic parts breaking all over the place. Anyone that thinks their new Equinox or Traverse is going to last as long at the early 2000s vehicles does not know how those things are. They build them as fast as possible and as cheaply as possible, that is just the hard truth. No, your Ford Escape does not classify as an "amazing new vehicle". You should see the experience people had with them. Repairs after repairs after repairs and they aren't even 5 years old. I'm mainly talking about their new ones. Didn't actually doubt Apple's safety feature there. Back around 2019, I fell really hard and I didn't even know that my watch has fall detection feature since I bought it just for easy access on my notifications. I'm impressed with Apple Watch since then. I will update it more often than my iPhone to be honest.
My fall detection kept false positiving from using a hammer and clapping hands that I turned it off.
I had a big accident few days ago and i can say iphone saved my life ,in few minutes the ambulance arrived, police too and everything
2:20 Bro Almost Caused A Whole Blackout
That awkward moment when you know what's written on the rusted car 🥴
N word in russian 😳
4:05 it's normal to have some few 6 to 10 seconds delays before 10 seconds timer will show on screen to make sure you're really in severe car crash or you're not even able to stand or what ever situation you suffers that couldn't even let you stand or what
i like how the alert only went off after he cuts the edit and already has the phone in his hand
Same thing at 4:00, why would you cut there?
It really work, but the first test almost was a tragedy 😂
You skip the part of 10 second delay. You should have add that part too.
The guy that told us to drill for the headphone jack...
This guy really goes and finds the nicest Grand Marquis he can find and then wrecks it like WTF those are genuinely amazing used vehicles.
I own one myself, solid vehicle no major failures…I was honestly hurt seeing him use it for the crash detection
still better to use an amazing used vehicle than an amazing new vehicle
@@lelenny7725 Amazing new vehicle? What a joke.
So much plastic it is bound to get junked after 100,000 miles and nobody is going to want to be putting all their money into one.
@@lelenny7725 all amazing new vehicles are plastic, all amazing used vehicles are more metal then plastic.I will leave it at that
@@Sasseman2198 What year do you own? I've found the Town Car and Grand Marquis to be one of the most reliable vehicles you can get if you are looking for a smooth riding used vehicle. They literally ride better than any new car I've been in, I have to say they actually are probably one of the smoothest riding vehicles you can get. I was recently in a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas with around 49,000 miles and it already was starting to shift like a junker. The thing shifted on turns and I was not very happy with it as it got annoying it shifted so many times and you could feel when it would too. It was a rental so maybe it was used pretty hard but still it shifts way too much for my liking. Wonder how many miles you have on your Grand Marquis as well.
*Lowkey had my eyes glued waiting for it to hit the electrical tower*
You may expect the crash detection a bit gimmicky but that’s due to old software working with a new system, try this again in November and it should react faster and overall work better!
I don't think the delay is a problem. I may even be intentonal.
@@Adam-vx6to Agreed: ten seconds instead of twenty isn't going to make a significant difference in an actual crash, and that delay is probably responsible for ruling out a lot of false positives. A relatively harmless impact like that first attempt isn't worth wasting the time of emergency responders.
The blue car looks kinda cute tho
i was in an accident and it worked. not only did it call emergency services but also sent a message to my emergency contacts saying that i was in an accident, and sent my current location
