I went to Disneyland in August and I had seen Fantasmic for the first time in years. I was sitting with my sister, brother-in-law, and my two nephews in a fast pass seating area that a cast member let us into. My sister had surprised up and bought us all churros. Needless to say, I was ugly crying from the overwhelming magic and family time I had gotten. I love Disneyland!
I was there last night. it was amazing to see!! brought tears to my eyes! but I do miss the Peter pan ship scene.
Am i the only one that cried at the end ? Everytime I've seen World of Colors , Paint the Night and Fantasmic, tears of joy just roll out!!!

What i miss the most is that final big bright green firework explosion at the end of the spectacular... Catches you off guard and kinda just leaves your heart pumping.
SO happy they added Punzie and Eugene! Ughhhhh! Makes my heart all warm and fuzzy.
I cried watching this I just felt very emotional!!!!! I'm an obsessed Disney fan and I love anything Disney!!! and this brought tears in my eyes. loved everything about this new fantasmic!!
We watched the second preview they had. We miss the old one so much! From Mickey's choreography- to some of the music. Great job capturing this one though!!

I just saw the new fantasmic last night and I loved it and can't complain of the new additions, however the last version was much better imo personally because it brings back so much of my childhood memories.

this made me cry😭 I miss Disney Land and I remember this show being one of my favorites. I rarely go to Disneyland because of the price, but when I do it's always amazing. it's like a second home. I grew up there... sorry for getting soppy but amazing video♥♥♥

Wow that was incredible! I can't believe you were able to hold your camera the whole time like that. I can't speak to the changes as I've only seen the WDW version, but that looked totally different (and much better) than the one we have at WDW. I love how they use the Columbia and Mark Twain in the show. Well done and thank you!!!

I'm not gonna lie, Fantasmic has never looked better, I mean dood it's kinda sorta like Disneyland's world of color now. I can actually see all the projections now. Before it was really hard to see, but it seems they've mastered the water projections compared to when I saw it last. My mom would have loved to see it.

Thank you for filming the new fantasmic. I love it. The only thing I wish wasn't gone was Peter Pan scene, but everything else was outstanding. It seems that it's a few minutes longer than the original.

I always felt Disneyland's version of Fantasmic was better than WDW's, but now I think it's even better... even with the negative changes some people found in this version.

Loved the new features added with more lights, water and sound but they didn't do very much for the great villains scene except make it shorter by cutting out small parts of the original soundtrack, changing the voice of the Magic Mirror to the voice of Count Dooku (which was very unnecessary because the old voice actor was already awesome) and completely taking out the transformation scene of The Evil Queen to the Old Hag. Though they did up the Dragon and special effects which was cool. Besides that it's pretty amazing.

I LOVED IT, the only thing I was a lil disappointed was I wish they had the big Ursula swimming in the water like before🐙 and they need to bring PETER PAN back, but other than that it was great. After finally digesting the new Fantasmic 2.0 I have my review. Btw great job recording it! Okay so I would have to give it a 7/10.
Pros:
The new pink elephant scene was amazing and felt like a good refresh.
I miss Pinocchio but they gave a good throwback with Mickey as a puppet.
The new projections on Tom Sawyer island bring a new life to this show!
The water effects are amazing. Especially the lighting projected on them!
The new effect of Mickey taking down the Dragon looked so cool.
I actually enjoyed the Aladdin and Jasmine scene very much it was a cute addition to the princess scene.
Cons:
Mickey getting trapped in the magic mirror works in Disney Sea version of Fantasmic because they have an actual floating mirror barge. But I don't like it here especially because we don't get to see the evil queen transformation.
Mickeys random sounds that he makes out of nowhere.
No Brave Tailor Mickey disappoints me because I just like the way it looks.
Pirates kinda felt forced. I just need to see it in person.
I think a Lion King scene would have been great, but felt ruined because on the stage and barges there was Jungle Book characters only. It annoys me a lot.
The part with Ariel and Nemo has no reason to be there it's just a way to drive Finding Nemo into fantasmic and they should just remove that scene.
Also no Flotsam and Jetsam Booooo.
Needs more fireworks.
Last Maleficent and the dragon came in very awkwardly. Maleficent just shot up right away from the start and I like the magic of not seeing the dragon come up.
Other than that the show was amazing and I hope they revamp Orlandos Fantasmic very soon!
McDavid they purposely changed the fireworks cause it caused so much smoke that it was hard to see sorcerer Mickey.

I love what they did, honestly. The only thing I really agree on is that the Pirates segment fits more with World of Color, not Fantasmic. I agree that Peter Pan should return. Glad they used the ship still, but yeah...
Other than that, you weren't joking about DAZZLING. Lol! I want to go and see it for myself now. I missed it.
Thanks for the great video! I'm personally not a fan of the Pirates of the Caribbean addition. I also wish they would've kept the Evil Queen's transformation scene, Pinocchio, and Peter Pan. The vocals for Ariel's part seemed out of place for me too. I also preferred Mickey's dancing in the original during the ending fireworks sequence (where he points on beat to the fireworks being shot in sequence).

Yeah I think it's supposed to be Elizabeth. It was an extremely poor execution of her character I think too. I love this show but the Pirates part definitely is the weakest part of the show tbh. The concept was great but the execution was poor I think.
THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING! Felt like WOC on steroids, weird transitions @ times, POC bizarrely came out of nowhere and the soundtrack was just ok. In the end, this version failed to bring on the goosebump feels the way the original always had regardless of the number of times I've seen it. Looking forward to seeing live and maybe I'll change my mind:-)

The Pirates sequence makes me sad. It's not that it's horribly done or anything, it's just less like what I love about the magical, whimsical, campy Disneyland I knew and more indicative of where I see the parks are trying to head with the dramatic, gritty, techy trend of the decade. I'm sure many people will be fans of this show, but I know lots of long time fans of Disneyland are not as happy about the way the parks are changing. And I don't think it's because the parks are changing, but because they (well, I) feel, in the process, the parks are losing parts of the carefully curated world that has been created in favor of pandering to specific lucrative franchises. And it feels like Disneyland has hard-core fans by the balls, who don't feel the same connection to the parks as before, but don't want to see the place fail either, so we all continue to overcrowd the parks, throw money at the corporation, and justify these changes that they're making for the sake of the affection we had felt for the park, rather than our opinion of what it is now.

ShoMeSho Walt Disney completely supported change. He was a fan of innovation and looking towards the future. Nothing is sacred. Everything is changing. That is the way of life and Walt Disney would have supported changing the parks.

Thank you for putting your arm through all of that, just to show us the show! It makes me a little sad that they're stepping away from all he classics that were in there like Peter Pan and Snow White. I totally understand why they are though! It's still a fantastic show and still gets me all sorts of emotional. So is the red haired girl from the Pirates ride in the show too? I know they were saying that they were making her a pirate now or something. Regardless, thank you for another great video!
