They are a great bit of kit to carry just in case, with a number of other uses. Aren’t they? 😉👍🏼
The Dutch Army ones are good as they are a bit bigger as the Dutch are quite tall people.

I made my first 5ft x 7ft US surplus poncho tent, with doors, today., Will make a video of setting up technique when I cut the poles to size .Its actually storm proof and rooted to the ground

Totally agree, Garth. Can be used for many things in the sticks and on way to our destination.

@@BourneOutside we even used em as a basha in para training if they got metal ring holes at corners,a few bungees and they made a good lean to shelter.🇬🇧👍

@@garthtree2158 Yeah, they are big enough for a basha. Lighter than one too.
I do like my old basha as well. I need to do another camp under it sometime. 😉👍🏼

      You and me both!
I prefer Urban Camo in the Amsterdam nightlife.
Saucy suzzies and basques don’t seem to suit me at my age 🤣

They're slightly bigger than others for sure

Yeah, it’s quite a bit bigger than my Mil-tec poncho and not as heavy as the Mil-tec either.
      Win, win.

      Cheers Sam.
It will be great for you as you are a tall chap and the Dutch are tall.
It makes for a roomy poncho and a leant to shelter as well.
Great DPM pattern to boot 😉👍🏼

I rate them too. The DPM is very much like our woodland foliage as well.

With you on that. At certain times of the year it is better than our own DPM.
Saying that, the German Army Flektarn is a great pattern too in many instances.
