Thanks for the shoutout guys! I modify the heck out of my S-Wavers. If you have an old waver (2 toothpicks holding the tail), they swim a lot better than the new ones.

I can relate to the going to blows lol! when you travel with same bunch of guys all the time, they become brothers! And from time to time we fight as long as we respect each other in the end and come back together that’s all that matters!!!
The river 2 sea S-waver is a good place to start if you want to get into glide baits. That bait just catches fish
The s-waver is a good budget entry glide, I would have to agree on what was said about the action straight out the package it does not chop well. I shaved down the points on the end of the belly section of the bait to give that hinge a wider range and it helped to let that bait kick out better. The spro chadshad is very good for it's price, the profile of the bait is great, if they made a slow sink it would be even better but the color selection does kind of suck. The baitsanity chimera shad is another good "budget" glide, it's slow sink/suspending with swivel hook hangers but it's $80.
Also, I have 2 river to sea where I’ve used a dremel on the back end to get more of “glide” out of it.

I've found the s waver is more of a big wide s motion when steady swimming it. Not really meant to be a long hanging wide glide or chop style. But I'm sure lightening up the hardware weight, and leveling the fall of the bait would result in a bigger glide.
Love MDJ not giving too much up about the Swaver, growing up in CA I'm sure he knows what he's talking about! If you're throwing it straight out of the box you're doing it totally wrong! It's a 10 after some heavy modifications no doubt.

The S-Waver has seen its day, I’d buy an Ima glide fluke 178 if I were on a budget. It took me 18 mos to get on a resin Chad Shad drop, now I own 2 and 2 legends. There is no comparison IMO. The resin tuning is amazing, it does not rock like the plastic glides do.

I use the Tator Hog custom lures amazing paint job and great action yall should check them out there a little expensive I paid $250 for mine but it's hand made and about 8 or 10 inches caught several bass on lake Fork
Bass pro makes a glide similar to the S waiver and it catches giants for me

All GREATS break from the pack and chase the ultimate goal of winning their craft. Tiger Woods didn't have an entourage, KOBE no entourage, MJ no entourage. Tom Brady, no entourage. Williams sisters, Nadal, Federer. The list clearly can go on. Maybe MDJ is in it for the checks, and RUclips hustle. That's cool. I have followed his tournaments. I want to see him atop of the sport.
