- The Royal Maces present the teaser to our full-length 2017-2018 cruise video: "Hook Down" - Join the Maces throughout our 2017 WESTPAC and spring training, experiencing Air-to-Air as well as Air-to-Surface training and employment. It will be made available at the MCAS Iwakuni Spring Festival, May 5th, and also via the VFA-27 Public Affairs Office at vfa27pao@gmail.com. Enjoy!

The Royal Maces have always made outstanding videos, even when I served with VFA-27 from July 1995-November 1997. Top notch those Maces, and I'm quite sure the brave Sailors (men and women) who serve today are top notch as well.
The only thing I regret, was breathing that damn incinerator that was poisoning all who served at NAF Atsugi I actually served at NAF Atsugi with VF-21 (Freelancers) from 1991-1993, so I got a double tour of poison. I'm having major health issues today, because of the toxic exposure (Dioxin, Heavy Metals, PCB's... and the list goes on) I, and thousands of Sailors AND the THOUSANDS of dependent families as well (so many babies, toddlers and teenagers), were all poisoned and our government knew about it, and swept it under the rug. Even today, the VA is doing little to NOTHING for us, as is our government. Shame on them all.
