Had 1 for a year now, no problems at all. Goes much better with 95 fuel. Cruise 130 to 150 kph easily. Pass road trains with ease if you put your foot down. Overall i like this car, once you get used to the cvt .
Good review, in India this product is not doing as well as others, as MG is relatively a new entrant here, although the base varient is priced very well. I own this car (manual BTW) so far everything is functioning as expected without any issue. If fact none of their models have faced any critisism for a quality issue so far.
Finally got my rain detector / auto light sensor fixed under warranty. It had never worked from when I purchased it - a common problem apparently . I like my ZST Excite (1.3Lt Turbo), but fuel economy is not good.
Well done mate , a kiwi doing good content , bias of course as you sell them , however when in market to buy I’ll come and see you , current car 2023 Cupra for mentor VZ

Thanks for the information. MG had been selling quite well in NZ & AU but this year it is very slow.
What's it like for acceleration up steep hills?
Slow to average

this will last 5K before falling apart
but many have done more than 50k
@@JerryPanandCars yes in aus most of those who has high milage also spent a ton of time getting every issue fixed that can pop up
@@crez1988 disagree as I have sold many. Falling apart sounds silly
