We paid $21,000 (or 19,000 Euro) for a house in Italy- A Sicily fixer upper house! Episode 8

We bid on a 1 Euro House and while were waiting, we looked at what else the town of Sambuca di Sicilia & Western Sicily had to offer, for both lifestyle and real estate. Getting a house for 1 Euro wasn't easy. A lot of people bid online, without ever even visiting the 16 available properties. We decided we needed to check out all the options in-person. We opted for a private sale home and paid just $21,000 for a multi-level fixer-upper. we just finished the purchase and are checking out or brand new (really old) house!
Surprisingly, there are many other affordable real-estate offers in Southern Italy, and you don’t need to be a citizen to be an owner. Follow us as we take on this challenge!

Went to Sicily in April, loved it. Palermo was where all my grandparents came from. My husband and I joke about buying a home in Italy. I will definitely subscribe!

we didn't! We looked at "for sale" signs and then used a government notaio to do the deal
