Do you have any idea what app I can download or site I can go to so I can practice my nihonggo through speaking to Japanese people or speakers? BTW appreciate your videos you’re so good at explaining.
I can't quite keep up with the Japanese subtitles but I do appreciate having them there. Have been wanting watch videos with Japanese text (as a semi read-along) & am even more glad to see the furigana so I know for sure which kanji is which. Thankfully everything was simple enough to understand even without the English repetition (that likely does help others) so I didn't miss much from giving some of my attention to the subs.
Thank you so much! My sister and I are going to Japan in March & April next year so we will definitely be partaking in the ohanami tradition and also getting some streetfood! This is really helpful ❤
Please do more of these! It was so much fun to watch and learn from. You’re so natural in camera. I’ve wanted to attend your lessons for a long time but I live in the UK and times don’t really work for me, but having something like this is such a nice tool to learn from
I liked that you let people know they need cash, trash bag, and get your drink at the vending machines to save a bit. And of course we all like your smile, style and sense of humor!
I found I could actually follow the gist of this most of the time! A lot of the words themselves fell by the wayside, but I felt like I grasped the overall meaning pretty well.
Hello🙂Sayaka.. I watched your video during my😋lunch break.. now it’s back to work time. 😢😂 @ 04:14 😂🤣 your facial expression and sound!! Bye for now.. have a wonderful day/night, Sayaka!! 🇺🇸🙂💚💚💚🙂🇯🇵
I love those real life japanese learning videos, very helpful! I imagine it took quite a while to edit though, maybe you can reuse it turning into several mini tiktok videos!
That’s an amazing video to discover all the Japanese street foods but also how to order, I learned a lot through your video☺️ thanks!! (and thanks for the English subtitles!)
I am back working where I live in Adelaide, Australia, but I was in Tokyo for 12 days during last month. Tokyo is beautiful, the people who live in Tokyo are so nice. I was very impressed with Japan.
I love this. I’m in the beginning stages of learning Japanese. Love the mix of English and Japanese. And the hiragana/kanji. Doesn’t hurt youre easy on the eyes too 🤭
Thanks a lot for this video I will be traveling to Japan in this November and I'm a bit scared to talk as I've recently started to learn Japanese. Will star from ordering :D Best wishes from Poland
It's Spring time here in Australia sooo I just pretend it wasn't late haha Cherry blossom full swing here. Actually, the trees in my backyard are all flowering right now 😊 Food looks tasty. Thank you for this helpful video as always!!
Thanks for the off season video with the funny opening,! Which is special! And you bite the stomach of the grilled fish which is usually very bitter! try other parts first next time maybe LOL
Really nice! ^^ Japanese festivals are always lively and calm at the same time. Food always feels at home for me. I haven't tried fish on a stick since how I eat fish here is with my hands and remove any fishbones, and with rice, good for lunch or dinner. 😅 My Japanese learning is getting better because I no longer feel 8-80-100% clueless most of the time. Hopefully, I can confidently speak Japanese without sounding silly lol. Anyways, take care always! さやかちゃんはいつも超可愛いです! 💗💗💗
@@NihongoDekita Thanks so much! Will do. Will definitely make it one of my languages. 😍 Also, I'm going back to Japan this December. Hope to see ya some time. ^^
I can't speak Japanese, but I've never had any issue ordering in Japan. I think the main thing is being polite and remembering very basic phrases like arigato gozaimasu or onegaishimasu
Out of curiosity, what do you do with a food you buy but end up not liking? Would you just put it in your ゴミ袋 ? Or carry it around in your hand? Thank you for making these videos!! They’re such good practice :)
I have a frustrating experience. Not knowing where to begin or hitting a plateau can feel demoralizing and make it hard to hit the books and study like you know you should…Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships.
Was that in Nagoya? Looks a lot like a park I went for Hanami in. I was a little tipsy and wound up talking to random strangers - one of my group and a random group wound up getting married! Hanami is very special!
I'm not perfekt in Japanese and I'm still learning, so it can be wrong: What we learned is that you count differently depending on the object's you're counting ○つ (ひとつ, ふたつ...) is used when you're counting smal objects like apples, eggs or glasses ○本 (いちぽん, にほん...) is used when you count "cylinders" (according to my notebook). You use it to count bottles (filled) or even pencils
Question. I’m planing a trip with my wife and kids next year to your beautiful country. Love your content, but I learnt that you’re supposed to use both hands to pay. In the video, you only used one.
As someone who is learning Japanese and wanting to go to Japan I appreciate this video
Thank you ☺️🫶🏻

The bite into the bitter fish and the reaction was gold 🤣 So expressive

I just slowed the video down, it is a lot more slow if you put it at 0.75x but it helps me
Thank you so much! My sister and I are going to Japan in March & April next year so we will definitely be partaking in the ohanami tradition and also getting some streetfood! This is really helpful ❤
Hope you’ll enjoy a lot of good street food here :)

@@NihongoDekita Thank you I'm American and really trying so hard ...yes keep them coming!! Love it !!
Thank you 「キッチンカー」大好き
Lol that translates to kitchen car, now “kicchinkā” actually makes more sense!
You are adorable and your English is really incredible. I learned so much from this video.
You can speak English so well. ! with an american accent. 👍
There’s a lot to improve tho, thank you!
Thats great! I was born in England but I cannot speak English well myself, although it was not my first language
Glad I saw this even though its Christmas day 2024. It will help me when I travel to Japan for my holiday in April 2025. ❤
Please make more videos like these talking in Japanese language ❤ it was so nice to watch and learn at same time
I would definitely love to have more videos like this, its good listening practice for learn Japanese and the culture

Takoyaki looked yummy 😋 I love watching the videos and then running up to my mom and older brother repeating what I heard 😍

You should make a video on ordering food only speaking English so to really give us tips and tricks on how to order for foreigners :)

I have a question, is there a particular reason “はい” is used so often?
はい is not just “yes” but it can be “uh-huh” “ok” and a lot of these! :)
@@NihongoDekita ah I see thank you for responding ありがとうございます!

When you are ordering when you say ippon and when hitotsu? Or is it for different things you used either of Them?
