ImageJ Macro Cell Counter Instructional Video

This video will demonstrate a method that allows semi-automated quantification of hair cells in the entire utricle by staining adult utricle cultures for Pou4f3, a hair cell-specific transcription factor. This video will use confocal images of control, neomycin-treated, and cisplatin-treated utricles to show how ImageJ can be utilized for the quantification process. ImageJ automates the quantification process from image loading to a final quantified image for users to then correct any mis-quantification manually via an image overlay indicating the counted nuclei.
