This was the creepiest part of Evil Superman. In the later scenes he's just a total douche, but here the look he gives her when they're sitting down is just terrifying. What an actor Christopher Reeve was.
Interesting contrast between the two women in Superman's life. Lois couldn't stand Clark but was madly in love with Superman, while Lana genuinely liked Clark and as we can see from this scene here, wasn't too enamored of Superman.
This was hands down one of the most effective scenes in the whole movie, right next to the junkyard sequence. Very creepy music at 0:30 as well that sells the scene.

Tbh, unless a woman had some green k, there really wouldn't be a thing she could do to protect herself. Trying to outrun him would be useless, and there's no point in trying to fight him off since he is both stronger and faster than even the world's peak humans. And you can forget the standard knee to the groin tactic; all that would do is put you in a world of hurt from a shattered kneecap since you know ol Supes is totally impervious to non-green k-related pain and his body is hard as steel everywhere, even in those places you'd expect a man to be soft most of the time.
He wasn't THAT evil. I mean look at the "bad" things he did in the film, straightening the leaning tower of piza? He turned into a petty vandal, not a rapist.
This was such a cool idea... and played very realistically by Reeves... It's almost like he was contaminated by some virus... that was slowly making him evil. So great.
I am a big fan of Richard Pryor, one of my favorite comedians ever. However, if they would have kept to the script and found another way to use him in the movie, this would have been another classic. If the film was more serious, we would have witness a golden globe or Oscar performance from Christopher Reeve, which was heading toward that direction. God Bless.

This one scene is more disturbing and dark than anything in that shitty Brightburn film. Brightburn tried too damn hard to be dark and edgy, when it was really total garbage. Reeve made his jerk, rape-driven and sinister Superman work. The man was an acting genius. Superman III aged better over time, thanks to trash like Brightburn and Man of Steel.

Just think, if Supes had tried something with her, anything at all, there wouldn't have been anything she could have done to protect herself. Standard self-defense tactics against a superpowered Kryptonian would be useless, as would trying to outrun him. She doesn't know what he really is, nor does she know kryptonite is the only thing that weakens and eventually kills Kryptonians. If he had decided he would have her whether she wanted it or not, she would have been in big trouble.

I'm a man who strongly relates to both clark kent and superman, and I think I love this movie for the fact that the chemistry with Lana was so much better than Lois!.......I often attract women who are like Lois!....the controlling, lead you by the nose type!.....and thats perhaps why i never liked seeing superman or clark kent with Lois!.....i didnt like the vibe when they were together!........but with Lana theres something very sweet and organic about their chemistry, and the first glimmers of confidence in the Clark kent side of his personality are seen in her presence!......when theyre together he doesnt feel like some dork being lead by the nose and bossed around!......clark feels like.....well a "man" in her presence! and they look great together!.......I wish they wouldve done more with her character!

Excellent movie, the creators of this Superman 3 is genius with the idea of Superman becoming slowly evil from the krptonyte. And the music !!
