This isn’t a bad podcast but it’s not what they marketed it to be. They said that it would be most focused on the show but they barely talk about the episodes.
I’ve noticed that , no shade, Lindsay cannot help but making topics about her and her anecdotes. As evidenced by other podcasts and interviews she’s been in. A quick two minute “how are you today” turns into a whole segment. Tammin could definitely do better at reeling her in and going down the rabbit hole with her. I also think they both perceive themselves as being “overlooked” due to their being bigger stars on the show so they also IMO are trying to hard to sell or prove that they have their own interesting stories or are “in the know”.

Everytime I rewatch pretty little liars I wonder why Spencer’s family blamed Spencer SO MUCH for her and wren’s affair… yes she is old enough to know it’s not right but she’s a minor and he’s an adult 😭
Bcoz that's life, some ppl are like that, characters are suppose to be as real as possible..of EVERY character did everything morally right all the time, that just wouldn't be realistic at all

Spencer never slept with anybody until Toby in 3x12. She was only making out with Melissa’s adult boyfriends. For me I can never blame her because she was a minor and they were adults trying to get with her and she was being blamed for pedos behaviour. Love the pod ❤

Spencer's behavior is actually described like that in the books. In one of the books she also stole Melissa's essay but in the books her family was a lot more mean and treated her like sh*t.

I think what maybe the show didn't capture enough was that Spencer was desperate, her grades were down for the first time and she was feeling such pressure, I think her whole family was ignoring her and Wren took her V and then ghosted her

I heard somewhere the reason Patrick was on PLL was bc Troian broke up with him in IRL and he wanted to get her back. So he basically got his way onto the show just so he could be close to her. Obviously is worked lol I’m assuming that’s why it was such a strange one off, Harvey was strictly so Patrick could be on set

It'd probs be a good idea to do the podcast how 'girls next level' do it, in the way of when you have a guest, ignore the pll episodes and interview them and then carry on with the actually pll eps after For example; week 1: tlk about ep 1 week 2: tlk to guest Week 3 and 4: talk about ep 2 and 3 week 5: guest week 6: tlk about ep 4...... that way the guest don't distract from talking about the pll eps and u can stretch the podcast out longer
Lindsey you are the QUEEN of micro-expressions, you convey so many things very subtly (and i say that as someone who watched your scenes multiple times)

Tammin! I really resonated with what you said about your daughters. I'm a single mom to one daughter and she just turned 3 and she's a mirror of myself too. I've been learning to see myself through her eyes versus my own so I can truly love myself more and be a positive role model for my daughter as she grows. The writers knew exactly what they were doing with Spencer. The very first 2 seasons, minus Jenna and Toby living past season 1, Mona after season 2, are right from the 1st four books. A few more differences: Ezra was arrested and Caleb never existed. Hanna was supposed to date Mike, Aria's brother, & they touch on this plot line in season 4 with a flashback. The relationship with her & Noel was a serious one and Byron actually marries Merideth & they have a baby. I don't remember everything and I also don't want to spoil it all for those who want to read the books and compare

Watching the PLL at this age puts situations on the show in a different light from when PLL first aired.( STILL LOVE PLL.) I love hearing your thoughts on PLL and I feel like if I was in the same room as you, I could easily jump into both of your conversations. It is why I love listening, your thoughts are relatable. I am not rewatching the show with anyone so I feel like I am actually rewatching with you two and I am like "RIGHT" every time you two bring up a topic. IMO i love the mix of them ralking about their personal life and talking about the plot line and the pll BTS. I know a lot of people are not liking it, but it feels very natural to talk about themselves. Idk 😅
Although the podcast isn’t very focused on the show, I still really enjoy hearing y’all’s insights and I really appreciate Joseph expertise. I think that’s the point of media, watching the show and redirecting to one’s own real life.
I like the idea of this pod but I personally thought it would be more episode based. For example, you talk about the episodes briefly and then go off on tangents. I thought it’d be each pod episode would represent each episode or couple episodes of the show and dissect deeply with personal opinions, stories, behind the scene stories, etc and include special guests who have also been apart of the show and share their stories…

I just wanna say that I feel and do THE SAME as Tammin when it comes to death. I literally give myself panic attacks daily thinking about dying and it’s HORRIBLE. Ever since I had my child I freak out over it.

Never the biggest fan of Paige as a character but I absolutely love Lindsey and her openness and honesty and just love how polar opposite tammin is. They were both incredible in pll and I love hearing about them as well as the shows. I’m obsessed with this podcast

I didn't notice that the storylines was so dumb and stupid the plant scene made no sense to me as kids we didn't know that the storylines were werid and confusing even we shipped aria and Ezra
Oh man, as a mom of a toddler sometimes I just don't want to be touched sometimes and I feel terrible for feeling like I want to yell Don't touch me! but she's 3 and doesn't understand. I don't have a village and it's hard and I'm afraid to put her in Daycare because I've met a few people who shouldn't work with kids. Parenthood is definitely not for everyone.
So excited that ur doing this podcast loved pll its really my fav show ever my bff in high school got me obsessed with it and I got my mom obsessed with it too then i was watching it again on netflix with my aunts account she gave me cuz i asked her for it and everytime she told me that im obsessed too much that I need to go to rehab 😂
So just as a disclaimer, I love Lindsey and Tammin. I was definitely hooked by the first episode. I think the concept of this podcast is really awesome. But I honestly thought what was advertised in the first two episodes of the BTS and tea, and getting into the knitty gritty was what I was invested in. I feel like now being in the fifth episode it’s not delivering what my expectation of the podcast would be. I loved this first two episodes. The second two were still enjoyable, but this one specifically felt a bit more off topic and random at times- But none the less, this is an awesome podcast, and I’m glad it exists ❤

I had my son at 17 … finished high school with him .. college med school residency …. Got married 2nd year of med school but we didn’t have kids until my 3rd year of residency so my son was 12 when I had my TWIN girls. Identical twin girls ….. and they may look exactly alike! And there are days when I’m like you aria or sienna? Btw I totally got my girls name from this damn show!! My aria jade❤ but they couldn’t be any more opposite. Sienna is calm and will play for hours … they go to preschool/nursery school now and she can get along with anyone and you’ll be her best friend. So sweet so loving …. Then I have my aria. Aria is me. She’s loud she’s a spitfire she’s that toddler that’ll walk up to you and be brutally honest.. she loves dress up and heels and purses … my closet has turned into not how I want it organized but by shelves that ok from your height down are things you can play with type or organizing but she also loves going and following her brother around and doing whatever he’s doing and if he’s got his friends over then even more so she wants to be right there. She’s got such a crush on my sons best friend Everytime he comes over she’s like “hi Tyler” and smiles and bats her lashes 😂😂 now our last one is due any damn day now!! Literally I’m 39 weeks today!! I mean if she just fell out right now I’d throw a party…. Whoever said after having twins a singleton pregnancy is nothing liars! This pregnancy has kicked my whole ass. All 9 months of it. But I’m so excited to see who this baby is as she grows up. Anyway, when they were talking about how different each kid is I’m like yes 100%!! I’m also the baby of 5 girls and all 5 of us couldn’t be any more different if we tried. But it’s wild just how different even identicals are! I expected them to have different interests but them being so different even from birth it’s just funny. Aria was sleeping through the night at 3 weeks old and sienna didn’t sleep through the night until she was 5 months old. Sienna took after my son who started walking at 7.5 months and aria waited until she was 9 months. Potty training was actually the most similar….. by the time they were 22 months old they were potty trained they hated having wet diapers and my son wasn’t far off either he was completely potty trained by 2. Literally his 2nd birthday he went to bed wear “big boy underwears” oh kids are such a blessing!! They kick the shit out of you and humble the hell out of you but are such a blessing!! And I’ll say more power to Lindsay for saying she doesn’t think she wants kids!! And good for tammin saying that that is ok!! Too many people have kids bc they feel like that’s what you’re supposed to do. And some people just have kids just to have them and are the worst parents ever. My 2nd oldest sister hasn’t had kids … she doesn’t want them she loves being the fun Zia that can spoil her nieces and nephews. And lord knows she does and I for one am completely grateful to her in particular because having had my son so young and just what comes to raising a child especially as a single mother …. I was blessed to have parents who had money so I just had to worry about raising my son and going to school. They paid for all of our schooling our houses or apartments while we were in school …. They paid for everything. Our parents wanted us to be able to graduate and not have a pile of debt looming over our heads …. But my sister would watch my son for me while I went to school. I’d drop him Off and pick him up and when I went to med school it was in the city (I was able to live at home for college cause it was only a 45 min drive but living on the south fork of Long Island and driving out to the city every day was too much) she moved out to the city with us so she could help me with my son and her doing what she does for a living she was able to transfer to a hospital in the city and then because we went to school for very similar things she was able to help me study and what not … she was just such a blessing and my son is so close with her. It truely does take a village!! If I didn’t have a village I never would have been able to go to school for 8 years and then 4 years of a residency. Never would have happened. I’m blessed to have the family I have period because getting pregnant at 16 and having a baby at 17 … I don’t even know if I would have been able to graduate on time from high school nevermind go to college! This comment is just like adhd vomited all over 😂😂
I think the reason why they aren’t talking about the episode at length is because Tammin and Lindsey were guest stars they were not on set 24/7 like the main 4 girls. I love this podcast and enjoy everything these two have to tell us about the show, their lives & everything else in between. But can you imagine if the podcast was Ashley, Lucy, Shay and Troian? Dead ⚰️I wish this is what HBOMax poured their money into instead of subpar spin-off series that just aren’t it
I cheated on my 1st husband. I didn't wake up one day and decide to do it. I wasn't happy in the marriage, but I couldn't stand the idea of breaking my ex-husbands heart, so I stayed. I ended up having an affair, thinking I could have my cake (not hurt my husband's feelings by leaving him) and eat it too (get whatever I was missing from my marriage elsewhere). Of course in the end he found out about the affair and he was gutted. 5 years later I can obviously see I went about everything in the wrong way. We could have sat down and had a conversation and even though it would have been hard and he would have still been sad, it would have saved him from feeling the betrayal. He is an amazing person and I'll always regret hurting him the way I did. It is different when you have kids, but sometimes "staying together for the kids" can do more harm than good. Our daughter was one year old when everything happened, so there wasnt really any transitional phase for her. She never feels sad that mommy and daddy arent together because she doesnt know anything different at this point. The first year was rough and we still have an argument here and there about our daughter, but we are on great terms now. If roles were reversed and he was the one that cheated I wouldn't have been able to handle it as gracefully as he did.

Having Alison and Aria above Spencer is criminal. Of course everyone’s allowed their opinion and I respect yours, but to have Spencer that low sort of just shows that you don’t really understand her character. None of them would have survived without her

Although the podcast isn’t very focused on the show, I still really enjoy hearing y’all’s insights and I really appreciate Joseph expertise. I think that’s the point of media, watching the show and redirecting to one’s own real life.

I like the idea of this pod but I personally thought it would be more episode based. For example, you talk about the episodes briefly and then go off on tangents. I thought it’d be each pod episode would represent each episode or couple episodes of the show and dissect deeply with personal opinions, stories, behind the scene stories, etc and include special guests who have also been apart of the show and share their stories…

I just wanna say that I feel and do THE SAME as Tammin when it comes to death. I literally give myself panic attacks daily thinking about dying and it’s HORRIBLE. Ever since I had my child I freak out over it.

Spencer was my favourite but then it got weird with her pills abuse when it wasn’t exposed or mentioned before 🤷♀️

Yall saying there should be more talk of the show? I think this is perfect. I love getting to know Lindsey and tammin more they’re such underrated actresses. Never the biggest fan of Paige as a character but I absolutely love Lindsey and her openness and honesty and just love how polar opposite tammin is. They were both incredible in pll and I love hearing about them as well as the shows. I’m obsessed with this podcast

I didn't notice that the storylines was so dumb and stupid the plant scene made no sense to me as kids we didn't know that the storylines were werid and confusing even we shipped aria and Ezra

Oh man, as a mom of a toddler sometimes I just don't want to be touched sometimes and I feel terrible for feeling like I want to yell Don't touch me! but she's 3 and doesn't understand. I don't have a village and it's hard and I'm afraid to put her in Daycare because I've met a few people who shouldn't work with kids. Parenthood is definitely not for everyone.

Tammyn, I have those thoughts too and I do not scream but I panic a little and want to cry.
So just as a disclaimer, I love Lindsey and Tammin. I was definitely hooked by the first episode. I think the concept of this podcast is really awesome.
But I honestly thought what was advertised in the first two episodes of the BTS and tea, and getting into the knitty gritty was what I was invested in. I feel like now being in the fifth episode it’s not delivering what my expectation of the podcast would be.
I loved this first two episodes. The second two were still enjoyable, but this one specifically felt a bit more off topic and random at times-
But none the less, this is an awesome podcast, and I’m glad it exists ❤
Lindsey you should check out animal crossing, harvest moon or stardew valley if you want to play something relaxing before bed
My husbands family also has the cardinal for a lost loved one. :) We've seen them at really special times too, which makes it really cool.

I do love that you have the crime thought added, however, I wish we were talking about the behind the scenes stuff, have more of the cast on there, etc.
I had my son at 17 … finished high school with him .. college med school residency …. Got married 2nd year of med school but we didn’t have kids until my 3rd year of residency so my son was 12 when I had my TWIN girls. Identical twin girls ….. and they may look exactly alike! And there are days when I’m like you aria or sienna? Btw I totally got my girls name from this damn show!! My aria jade❤ but they couldn’t be any more opposite. Sienna is calm and will play for hours … they go to preschool/nursery school now and she can get along with anyone and you’ll be her best friend. So sweet so loving …. Then I have my aria. Aria is me. She’s loud she’s a spitfire she’s that toddler that’ll walk up to you and be brutally honest.. she loves dress up and heels and purses … my closet has turned into not how I want it organized but by shelves that ok from your height down are things you can play with type or organizing but she also loves going and following her brother around and doing whatever he’s doing and if he’s got his friends over then even more so she wants to be right there. She’s got such a crush on my sons best friend Everytime he comes over she’s like “hi Tyler” and smiles and bats her lashes 😂😂 now our last one is due any damn day now!! Literally I’m 39 weeks today!! I mean if she just fell out right now I’d throw a party…. Whoever said after having twins a singleton pregnancy is nothing liars! This pregnancy has kicked my whole ass. All 9 months of it. But I’m so excited to see who this baby is as she grows up. Anyway, when they were talking about how different each kid is I’m like yes 100%!! I’m also the baby of 5 girls and all 5 of us couldn’t be any more different if we tried. But it’s wild just how different even identicals are! I expected them to have different interests but them being so different even from birth it’s just funny. Aria was sleeping through the night at 3 weeks old and sienna didn’t sleep through the night until she was 5 months old. Sienna took after my son who started walking at 7.5 months and aria waited until she was 9 months. Potty training was actually the most similar….. by the time they were 22 months old they were potty trained they hated having wet diapers and my son wasn’t far off either he was completely potty trained by 2. Literally his 2nd birthday he went to bed wear “big boy underwears” oh kids are such a blessing!! They kick the shit out of you and humble the hell out of you but are such a blessing!! And I’ll say more power to Lindsay for saying she doesn’t think she wants kids!! And good for tammin saying that that is ok!! Too many people have kids bc they feel like that’s what you’re supposed to do. And some people just have kids just to have them and are the worst parents ever. My 2nd oldest sister hasn’t had kids … she doesn’t want them she loves being the fun Zia that can spoil her nieces and nephews. And lord knows she does and I for one am completely grateful to her in particular because having had my son so young and just what comes to raising a child especially as a single mother …. I was blessed to have parents who had money so I just had to worry about raising my son and going to school. They paid for all of our schooling our houses or apartments while we were in school …. They paid for everything. Our parents wanted us to be able to graduate and not have a pile of debt looming over our heads …. But my sister would watch my son for me while I went to school. I’d drop him
Off and pick him up and when I went to med school it was in the city (I was able to live at home for college cause it was only a 45 min drive but living on the south fork of Long Island and driving out to the city every day was too much) she moved out to the city with us so she could help me with my son and her doing what she does for a living she was able to transfer to a hospital in the city and then because we went to school for very similar things she was able to help me study and what not … she was just such a blessing and my son is so close with her. It truely does take a village!! If I didn’t have a village I never would have been able to go to school for 8 years and then 4 years of a residency. Never would have happened.
I’m blessed to have the family I have period because getting pregnant at 16 and having a baby at 17 … I don’t even know if I would have been able to graduate on time from high school nevermind go to college!

I think the reason why they aren’t talking about the episode at length is because Tammin and Lindsey were guest stars they were not on set 24/7 like the main 4 girls. I love this podcast and enjoy everything these two have to tell us about the show, their lives & everything else in between. But can you imagine if the podcast was Ashley, Lucy, Shay and Troian? Dead ⚰️I wish this is what HBOMax poured their money into instead of subpar spin-off series that just aren’t it

I cheated on my 1st husband. I didn't wake up one day and decide to do it. I wasn't happy in the marriage, but I couldn't stand the idea of breaking my ex-husbands heart, so I stayed. I ended up having an affair, thinking I could have my cake (not hurt my husband's feelings by leaving him) and eat it too (get whatever I was missing from my marriage elsewhere). Of course in the end he found out about the affair and he was gutted. 5 years later I can obviously see I went about everything in the wrong way. We could have sat down and had a conversation and even though it would have been hard and he would have still been sad, it would have saved him from feeling the betrayal. He is an amazing person and I'll always regret hurting him the way I did. It is different when you have kids, but sometimes "staying together for the kids" can do more harm than good. Our daughter was one year old when everything happened, so there wasnt really any transitional phase for her. She never feels sad that mommy and daddy arent together because she doesnt know anything different at this point. The first year was rough and we still have an argument here and there about our daughter, but we are on great terms now. If roles were reversed and he was the one that cheated I wouldn't have been able to handle it as gracefully as he did.

Even if I loved someone and they had an affair I wouldn’t stay with them cuz if they do it once they COULD do it again. As much as it would hurt leaving them and moving on with life I would. If you find intimacy with someone other than your spouse or even someone you’re dating give them the respect of at least ending the relationship before you sleep with someone else.
