The round the table top spin off the blue is my favourite shot here. He only had the slightest angle so pretty amazing really.

Luca is so laidback it’s unbelievable. You could see sat in the pub while his mates are playing pool slurp his last half pint and amble out saying I got a snooker final to go to and them saying who’s in it and him saying me

I think screwing into the pack from the blue was taken to the next level by Stephen because he went in literally as soon as possible and 9/10 times he won the frame from it

Fantastic video Stephen, it’s amazing watching Luca. The way he won this year’s World Championships at The Crucible was nothing short of amazing. Loved watching him and still do. His cue power is phenomenal

Brecel, the snooker player with a built-in cue turbo
Brecel is cool and plays way open and attacking. We have all enjoyed Him taking the title.
I have to admit, Luca's bridge length fascinates me. I would say my own is longish compared to other amateurs at my local club, but Luca's is insane! I'm also really interested in the number of shots he uses a looped bridge on. Personally, I avoid looped bridging as much as possible. I just can't fathom how he gets so much accuracy. Then again, he's the world champ and I'm just some guy on the internet 😂
I feel like looped bridge gives more accuracy when your cueing off the rail rather than having ur hand on the table
@@gregwilmot3260 I wish I could get comfortable with it. Probably need to practise it more. I do use it when needed for shots off the rail, I just feel a bit unsteady with it and my accuracy is quite low when using a looped bridge. :)

I’m all about Hendrys being the greatest of all time, and I’m not a Ronnie fan boy AT ALL! But to suggest the Ronnie don’t have the cue power to play that first shot, is just ridiculous! Let’s get serious! From that angle, it’s almost a almost a “standard shot option” (among so many others) for the top

Hendry isn't the greatest of all time look at the stats your lying to yourself if you believe that
I think body proportions influence our stance. Tall players cue differently than shorter players, for example, and several other factors too. I like seeing the "there is no one-true-way" of doing things.

People say ronnie hasnt got the cue power but he clearly has got the power to playbthose types of shots, halfly because he just outright has the power like them but then the other half is hes timing of the ball is just on another lvl compared to anyone on the circuit today....period...
No ronnie doesnt have cue power and isnt known for it. His positional play on the other is out of this world, no one can compare.
Do you understand just what timing is an unbelievable when adding power, an you'd have to be really silly to not think Ronnie can't play those shot.

I cant stand Kyren Wilson, he is boring, no personality and can't stand watching him. But what I can't say is that he is bad at snooker or not a winner, when that clearly isn't the case!
@WayneAnthonyHolmes-bi2bc like saying that when a sprinter runs 9.7 seconds over 100 metres, that he is rubbish because in that particular race another sprinter ran 9.6. Trump is at least getting to these finals and competing at the highest level. Its not like he is playing against amateurs and losing (which Ronnie did by the way)
Neil Robertson cue power is underrated!
Stephen Lee has the most cue power, no one comes close. He really can get all his meat behind every sweetly struck shot.

I am sharing what really helped me in making conistent pots, hope this helps you guys:
PHYSICAL :
1. Made my physical portion of the game strong i.e. Aiming while standing, walking in, cueing straight with/out spin.
2. Putting the chalk in my pocket rather than in table. As it messes up aim as I aim while i chalk the cue. I am assuming which most of us do.
3. While getting down, i look at the spot where i want to hit.
4. Accepted the fact that i am not a professional and understood that i cue differently for hard shots and soft shots as I pull my cue farther for hard shots and vice versa for soft shots.
MENTAL:
1. I predecide my chance if making the shot only then i attempt it. If its 90% + I aim only for potting, anything less i play with pot cum safety.
2. Whenever i think of playing with top and while i am in bent position I decide that maybe bottom might give me better position. I get up and aim again as i noticed i cue differently for top spin shots and bottom shot. Made my accuracy go up a lot.
3. And i always keep this in mind whenever i play. That oponent is as nervous as i am but he is just good at covering it. Gives me a sadistic confidence on my game. It's almost like you made your opponent an audience to your amazing game.

Stephen mate. At your peak you could beat anyone. No one could come close when you were on form. I remember because I am around your age and used to follow snooker very closely.
The first shot played in this video was also actually nailed once by Mark Selby too where he had to develop similar yellow by potting the black
What would of made this video better is if they showed the actual shot before it cuts back to the recreation shot.

00:25 not being a Ronnie fan but both of them are forgetting that Ronnie wouldn't even be in such a situation where he would need to screw off the 3rd table across the cameras to Canon two balls. He'd have made up a plan to develop them in time. That's what makes him above everyone else. Snooker is not a cue power showoff sport. It's an art of solving puzzles.

Luca comes off really cocky and unlikeable here and in the main interview video. Okay, you're flash and you're the current world champion, props to that - but he seems very self aware of his role as the "breath of fresh air the game needs". Not to mention, this whole "I'm a lad, me" and "I don't practice, me" is getting old. His achievements are too few for this level of arrogance. Not a fan after this.
