I'm gonna buy that bigger one so I don't spend two grand on the 737 periphery haha. How do I ensure so you do get a kickback aside from using the link provided?
Looks useful, but the price is insane. For comparison with other useful equipment: TrackIR 5 is priced at $170, Tobii Eye Tracker 4C cost me 170€ in 2019.
Yeah, I could definitely find uses for this in other apps as well as MSFS but not for that price.
I use the Thrustmaster Cougar MFD bezels for a lot these kinds of things and you get 2 for cheaper than this, and if you wanted 4 it would still come out cheaper.
I just purchased this and the streamdeck mk2, and I prefered customising the Loupedeck. Yes, it is expensive but you can program anything you want, so for DCS World, MSFS, Elite, Star citizen, I can access all of their profiles with one button, camera angles, everything.
ALso, it's really light and I've mounted it to my monstertech mount using velcro
I just wish that the ‘touch portal’ app for android/ios would support a fully customisable layout like ‘game glass’.
Personally i use a Stream deck xl and pedal for my gaming. Plus a Razer Tartarus pro. I only seldomly actually use the keyboard.
Bought the StreamDeck+. Has 4 dials that also act as buttons when pressing them. It has "only" 8 buttons, but those are haptic and actually press down, and like all those new decks are small displays that can be customized. It can also have pages so effectively the 8 buttons can be expanded x-times. In the middle is also a bar display that is linked to the dials and pretty much very customizable. It appears also a bit cheaper than the LoupeDeck, which, coupled with the haptic buttons, and having 4 instead of 2 dials.
Though, the LoupeDeck does look a bit more refined and you can switch between button pages by swiping the touchscreen. On the StreamDeck, you have to give up 1 or 2 buttons for switching pages.
The tactile buttons on the stream deck do it for me! This touchscreen stuff on loupedecks reduces the realism of the sim imo.
@@SlosII I definitely have not regretted buying the Streamdeck since that post a year ago. I consider it one of the best peripheral purchases I did.
@@C76Caravan That's great to hear. Strongly considering a stream deck +. Euhm, I don't want to sound like an evangelist but.... you use X Plane at all? 😂 I'm just wondering if you got it set up easily? From some sort of profile online or you created your own?
@@SlosII not with X-Plane... But shouldn't matter much, because you can just assign key strokes to the Streamdeck buttons and then they work in game. E.g. if you want to have tail logo lights activated by a Streamdeck button, you can assign CTRL+SHIFT+L to it, then go to the sim settings and assign tail logo lights to the keystroke (can even press the button on the deck).
I've also assigned programs to the buttons when in Windows so it can start Excel or a game with a press of a button. There are a ton of options and abilities.
Informative and very useful video. 👍👍
Are you able to use this with the PMDG or maybe the vision jet?
I've thought about getting one of those little stream deck things for flight sim... this looks cooler, but a bit more expensive. Thanks buddy.
I have the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, plus the Logitech MultiPanel... so I guess the thing I could use this thing for would be comms?
It would be great if they make it work with the Xbox.
@@alancookuk8154 PC is best tool for serious flight simming.
I bought a 15 button stream deck and with the MSFS plugin it can do pretty much what is described here. Without knobs you can assign button presses to increase/decrease instead.
@@mercster I can’t afford one on my pension 🥺
Thanks for the video, can you share your msfs profile with us?
👍👍👍
TRIM! That makes the $ worth it? 🤔
Trim and radio,s or anything for using a dial. The dials are also push button
Yes but no, not worth the money when products like Touch Portal are available, with a great looking community supported MSFS interface. Free to try and $14 for a lifetime pro upgrade!.
PS: I also use Touch Portal for Elite and Star Citizen.
EDIT: Of course, you do need your own tablet.
Did you compare with GameTouch which is also well regarded?
guys do not buy this, the price is too much he is just a shill promoting their products. Go and research and find it cheaper.
It's worth the money. Buy one and maybe you can give advice
