Although the way it's put together and the carded figure looks amazing I had to pass due to price here, size and no weathering.. Was great to see the vehicle in the show (not for long though) once you unlocked this vehicle in Rouge Squadron on N64 you dominated the game..maybe if it's on clearance?..cheers Brett🍺🍺🍻
Retail price with no paint and old build-a-droid sculpt; pass 75 bucks on shop Disney with free shipping , especially when the droid is going for 50+ on eBay; sold!
@@MouseCrumb yeah definitely worth it for the sale on ShopDisney! Sadly I may end up buying a second with that deal just to get another droid to keep carded. $50 on eBay for just the figure is no bueno. Thanks for watching!
Firstly…BoF on a Saturday! Whoa. Secondly, great to see you had a perfect condition card back, which you opened! That’s the first one I’ve seen without damage from this tabs!
Great video. I agree with you that a subtle wash would have worked. You can tell from the screenshot that you included at the start of your video that the ship in the show has some grime build up.
I’m relieved to see you sliding the canopy forward, I’m not sure why but most of the reviews I’ve seen the reviewers want to lift it up and it detaches from the body in their video. Makes me cringe because I’m expecting it to break lol. Just my two cents, but I think this ship is worth the money. Thanks for the vid - one of the best reviews of this ship I’ve seen yet.
My issue is I don't want the E WIng, I just want the figure. R2-D2 and C-3PO were the very first figures I got as a kid back then and they were well loved so this design means a lot to me, but at $100 for accessory for a ship I care nothing about, its a pass
Yeah sorry, that does suck. They shouldn't lock figures behind these more expensive sets. You can either wait until eBay prices on the figure by itself calm down or buy the set and try to sell the ship without the figure to get some money back.
I love how KE4-N4 is based off the original mold for the Kenner R2-D2. Not just the toy of KE4, but the character in the Ahsoka show as well. Very Nostalgic. So is this the new look for the R7 series droid? If you look in the source books, the R7 series was built to specifically be mated to the E-Wing fighter. Or is KE4-N4 part of a different series of droid that is also capable of handling the E-Wing? I saw online that Lieutenant Callahan will be released in May 2025. Little bit of a wait if I want to put the actual pilot in the cockpit, think I might try to put Nien Nunb in it as he is a cool looking pilot as well. My 1977 R2-D2 (actually 1982/83 with sensorscope) also fits in the droid socket, a little loose, but he is secured with the cargo hatch in place. I too am sincerely pleased with the E-Wing and ever since reading the Dark Empire comic series, was in love with it and thrilled it has finally made it to the live action screen as well as the vintage toy line.
@@RetiredParatroop14S yeah the Kenner R2 inspired look for KE4 is my favorite part, very cool. Not sure if he’s the new look for R7’s or not, not sure they put that much thought into it. Callahan was timed way too late unfortunately. Tha me for watching!
The Complete Lack of Paint is Extremely Disappointing. Especially when You Compare it to Other TVC Ships, like Poe's X-Wing and even the TVC Sand Skiff.
You have to take in consideration that the E-Wing is a new starfighter that really hasn't been battle tested or seen any real combat yet. Unlike the X-Wing, Y-Wing, B-Wing, and A-Wing. These ships are going to look new and fresh or with very minimal wear on them.
I love that the droid head is based on the original Kenner R2 head, itself designed from an incomplete preproduction droid.
That’s my favorite part, so cool! Thanks for watching!

Yeah, definitely disappointing, could've made a big difference on an otherwise great looking ship.
