Thank you very much! I agree, the Lego versions lack detail due to the nature of the bricks. Not that they aren't beautifully built, it's just not my cup of tea of realism. Thank you again!
@@Toy_and_Prop_Masters Exactly. I appreciate the art of 'making it work in the medium of Lego', but the result will always be 'looks great - considering it's made of Lego'... But yeah, great project. It's one of those set pieces I occasionally also dream about making. I have several MPC Falcons laying around and I always wanted to do something cool with them. The obvious choices would be either Mos Eisley, your choice or the base on Hoth. You make a very strong case for the death star hangar! But then again, I always had this wild idea of using several Hoth ships and vehicles in different scales and use mirrors and forced perspective tricks to make some kind of illusion. I prototyped some of it long ago - should really get back to that. Anyway - thanks for sharing!
@@berendharmsen Making a Hoth diorama as you described would look fantastic. I too had my Falcon in storage for many years before undertaking this project. Like they say, if you can dream it you can do it! Good luck!
@@Toy_and_Prop_Masters I'll keep the link to your video around in case I actually turn my idea into a reality. Perhaps I'll contact you in 2034 with the result! 🙂 Thank you for the encouragement.
Great work! I built my Hangar bay 327 in 1/144 scale a few years back, nice to see this 1/32 version, I also built the Imperial shuttle hangar bay in 1/144 scale.
that was bloody awesome.
@gerryorourke7122 Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it!
This is incredible! I can’t work out why it doesn’t have 10m views. Brilliant 👏👏👏
Thank you very much! I wanted to share this build with the world so everyone could enjoy it, thank you again!
I saw the thumbnail, clicked and thought: please don't be lego, please don't be lego, please don't be lego...
Excellent work!
