Stephen should have been making devils at the beginning, and he should’ve kept Tinybones around! It would be making him 3 devils every time around the table! That’s so much damage
Every time tinybones triggers on other player's turns shouldn't Steven's commander trigger. he should have had so many more devils.. unless i read the interaction wrong. thats 3 devils a round. cause with mists Justin draws a card when it isn't his turn so thats a Devil Token.
Literally as he is getting excited about possibly getting devils from Sylvan Library (and then rereads his general) Justin announces "end of Stephen's turn I'll lose a life and draw a card".

I agree for the most part, but I think you gotta draw the line somewhere. There is a guy at my LCS that owns like ten decks and a proxy binder with the value equivalent of a new Honda Civic.
GamerdevilPro Steven has been really annoying ever since they started recording from home. He constantly bitches and moans and as soon as he’s dealt 1 damage acts like the game is over and stops caring. If he doesn’t want to play they should find someone to replace him so he can take a break from commander and the come back when he’s feeling it again
Austin Mello if he owns all the cards it shouldn’t matter, but if he’s proxying cards he doesn’t own that’s the problem. As a rule of thumb for proxies I usually do “if you own 1 you can own as many as you want, otherwise no”

Also wasn't mutating Vampires the whole theme for the Shadows over Innistrad/Eldrich Moon? Starting to wonder if this is how WoTC determines themes for new sets lmao.
I really like the idea of randomly jamming 2 commanders together and having to make a commander deck around them. I heard another idea off of the EDHRECast (specifically Joey Schultz) where he builds a 50 card deck around a partner commander from the original 2016 partners so they can be combined and played with any of the other partners. I think it would be a great idea for the show. No one would build an over powered deck based on the fact that they might not end up with it and they could build it around a janky theme to add to the hilarity *cough-Steven-cough*. Admittedly, I’m not sure how Joey Schultz builds his partner decks or how he determines how they get matched up. But for you guys, this seems like it would be very entertaining (at least imo)
I mean, jamming two 50 card decks together would require both decks to be unique. only one of all of the partner decks can have Sol Ring, the same goes for the better fixing such as command tower. You'd probably need fetchlands to get a good mana-base for 4 color crossfixing. It sounds funny but it can't be all that practical.
@@cloaking111 Once you adapt the format to a "smash-up" variant, having 2x Command tower doesn't sound that bad... Sol ring and the like would be problematic, but on lands I think it would actually be ok.
I’ve been noticing a hint of that with Justin for several seasons now. I think they might be getting burnt out on playing but they keep doing it because it’s their job.

Hm a few suggestions, I would say that if you are going to play archenemy to put the scheme cards on the right so we can know which one Justin gets...also not sure if the guys knew this but when the archenemy dies the game is over no need to kill each other after.
I'm pretty sure vigor is a trigger not a replacement effect it says "when" not "if", so John could have exiled it with the ability on the stack with scavenger grounds.
Whats the definition of insanity again? I kept waiting for Stephen to start putting more devils on the battlefield and it just never happened. "Ok Justin drew on Jeremy's turn this time he will make a devil"...nope. I cant count how many times I missed my triggers. Either way great game.
Ignore the Zurzoth missed triggers with tiny bones, if at 40:00 Stephen had a way to choose new targets he could have chosen both fighters for prey upon... It didn't have to still be the hydra from Jeremy's side.
Spoilers Man I’m bummed out about Managorger. It put such a fast clock on everything. I was really hoping to see Tinybones do its thing. I love that hydra, but it can really take over a game fast.
I've been playing it a lot in my local group, usually between 7-9 power level, and it hasn't been performing great. It's hard to take advantage of the card draw mechanic without one of the discard enchantments out on the field and it's actually fairly difficult to catch more than one opponent with 0 cards in hand for the activated ability.
@@Sykdude Those are the issues I figured it would have. People frequently complain about cards that don't do anything on their own, or cards that need specific requirements to do something. Tinybones is both. Sure it's a 2 drop, but unless you have Greeves or Boots in play to protect it from targeted removal, it's not living long. Out of the 3 existing Legendary Skeletons(Morophon not included), it's 3rd place in my book, because Skeleton Ship having access to blue, makes up for it being an otherwise bad card.
They were wrong. Steven could used deflecting Palm to change Prey Upon targets to kill Jeremys creature. Not to hydra fighting Jeremys creature, but to different Jeremys creature fighting Stevens commander.
Someone needs to make a Mana Gorger Running over Justin, Jon, and Stephen for a simple yet fun piece. Then Stephen could be causing some mayhem under their foot or car.

I play a Commander Nath discard/stax deck knowing I'll be the first to die regardless of the board state....people seem to hate discard more than land destruction and *gasp* mill for some reason. Ok Guys calm down you have to realize this is all live footage with minor editing unlike most of the other mtg game play people watch is scripted. However if you want commander gameplay that is top tier I would suggest The Command Zone but these guys are still my favorite!

Just like most commander games I've watched or experienced in real life, the people playing more obscure or non-creature-centric decks get targeted hard and the stompy player just craps all over the board and ultimately wins because that's how you're 'supposed' to play Magic.
I love how all of them pick on each other from start to finish. sometime a bit salt ... but that is how we do it in our group as well. but we drink a bit more than commander vs :)
No Wizards has stated multiple times it has an infinite print run so more can and will be; made, shiped, and sold. That said Carona is/will slow production down, so not sure how many or when the waves are going to come.
maximilian lopez nah players shouldn’t be salty bitches about it. The card has so many easy outs it’s crazy, but as soon as people discard they forget about card removal and go straight to player removal like babies
@@apophis456 its not salt but correct threat assement. If Tinybones was 5 mana this would be less of an issue but at 2 mana the typical recourse of removal doesn't quite do it. Same could be said for Kennan.
I have no idea why people are so negative about people missing triggers I understand the game is meant to be played a certain way but it’s not like my if you have never missed a trigger. So just give them a break and enjoy the show.

Don't see decklists - did Jeremy run Brash Taunter? Should work well with Neyith, doubling an opponrnts creature then fighting and hitting face.
It's a shame nobody was playing the Inniaz birdperson from jumpstart, but it's understandable since passing cards around is impossible here. :,(

technically you should check for vigor every 12 cards that are milled because it shuffles in each time and it COULD be in the NEXT 12 cards as well.
