Not many people know that FLAVOR FLAV was actually a musical prodigy as a child and taught himself how to play 15 instruments. Like Mozart, he had the unique talent of hearing a song and being able to replicate it by ear.
That's amazing!
Same as Liam Howlett of The Prodigy (hence the band's name) his parents thought he was learning piano really well at the lessons they sent him to until they realised he couldn't read music, just memorised the music upon hearing it.

Ha! I literally JUST read about him being a gifted musician! So I immediately came here and started searching for videos that feature Old Flavor Flav playing instruments...this is a nice song he's tapping out. But man...I was dumbfounded to learn that he was so musically gifted! He doesn't portray himself as terribly well cultured. Or intelligent.

This is a perfect example of never judging a book by it's cover. Never knew that underneath the "character" Flavor Flav plays on stage is a man that has musical talents such as this. Shocking and impressive at the same time.
