Best thing about the Xiaomi 13 is the size. Just the right size and enough features to stand on it's own. Camera might not be as good but it gets the job done. I'd definitely get that for size alone if it weren't for the Xiaomi 13 Pro's 1 inch goodness.
They should've use a flat display for the pro variant and only make curved display exclusive for the ultra variant, xiaomi 13 flat display with 13pro size would be nice ,i bought a xiaomi 13 3 days ago, i'd really like this flat display but i don't like 13 size is too small , 13 pro size is perfect but it has curved display 😵💫

Xiaomi 13 DC Dimming. Xiaomi 13 Pro 1920 PWM Dimming. For me, as a PWM sensitive person, DC Dimming from Xiaomi 13 is way better for my eyes. And contrary to other phones with DC Dimming I can keep 120hz with DC Dimming. The only good AMOLED phone I can use right now (and I had plenty; Samsung S series, iPhone, Pixel, other devices with higher PWM Dimming,...)
Yeah it is a serious problem... I've seen countless videos about phones I'm considering buying, and only one had the consideration to upload photos and videos samples in a GoogleDrive for the viewers to analyze and make better decisions.
I don't understand you guys, all flagship phones photos just nailed it, if you want further just go buy a DSLR camera or something, the phones reviews should foucs on performance and build quality and battery life, not taking 2/3 of the video compare camera quality tsk.

@@LostJak my point is smartphone companies develop their phones depending on the famous RUclips reviews and when the youtubers foucs too much on the cameras the companies start to focus as well on the cameras, they put efforts on other aspects but still something will be lack for better camera, even battery lack to provide more technology to the Camera, or the software lack to make camera take better colors processing, and going on, at least minimize, and now youtubers start to focus on screen brightness, next year we will get a phone with 10k nits somehow to destroy other flahships, like chill guys..
Is the difference in actual battery life actually that big? i find a lot of tests/reviews that say the opposite, with the regular xiaomi 13 having better everyday battery life overall

Remember I used to always get one of these shipped from China every year almost and they where only like £140 back then when it was 7 8 9. Camera was always hit and miss but overall they always ran really good and had good battery life. Why did they get rid of the pop up camera? I can't remember what version but I thought it was cool and loved that one.
The pop up camera was on the Mi 9T, I still use it and love the full screen without a punch hole or notch! 👍 Finally looking to upgrade and would love a Xiaomi 13!
Thanks for a really great vid once again Sam and just what I've been waiting for! It's a big disappointment that they've made the pro with a curved screen because like you I much prefer a flat screen. Personally I think they might have shot themselves in the foot with that one especially as you reckon the curve is a deep one! I was also hoping that the pro would be bigger this year because I'm going to have to replace my beautiful Huawei Mate 20X soon 😢 but there's just nothing out there that matches it for size (or is there?) Having said all this, when push comes to shove, it would be the pro that I go for even with the dreaded curve 😬 x

I went from 10t pro to 13 (regular), the camera on the 10t pro was absolute garbage. Glad they fixed that more or less. What i hated most is the blurry edges on basically anything close photographed, especially bright colors and the pixel 7 despite being a flagship phone has that as well. The 13 almost completely fixed that problem, except for a few situations. Thats what i made my choice on. I was also looking at the pixel 7 until i saw the sample photos

Xiaomi 13 is better. Xiaomi 13 has the perfect size, the 13 pro is too bulky and big like all the other phones out there. It seems like companies are doing everything they can in order to make awful ergonomics and really difficult for the customers to put their phones in a pocket. Xiaomi 13 is just right abiut the size. Not too small and not too big either.

xaomi mi ui has really great experience in flagship only. under 400 usd they are not that great. but on flagship its like best android experience, similar to some flagship colorOS kind of i myself dont enjoy stock android as i like lots of features offered by these custom ui . ( i have used redmi 10 pro , 8 pro , mi 10t pro and on flagship side mi 11 ultra.(this one had best software experience and i played lots of heavy game like 3 4 hrs every day close to 1.5yr)

13 Pro has an LTPO-display, which helps in terms of battery life.

Yeah i have been a long time Xiaomi user since MIUI 9, recently upgraded to 13 from 11T, the software aesthetics really needs to get a refresh

Those issues are very personal to you lmao. Most users will not care. I have been using Xiaomi for8 years and I have no issues with MIUI.
