Looks like it’s written to/for/about God as You/Your is capitalized in the lyrics.
@@tricias9347 I suppose it's a general song that could be used by a Christian as about God or a nonbeliever about someone they love. You can't hear in her voice that it's You with a capital Y. It could be played on commercial radio because it doesn't mention God or most specifically Jesus at all.
Don’t be silly. The message of the song is clearly spiritual, full of gospel truth, and would be nonsensical if sung to a human.

Being in a valley feels so overwhelming and our mind can trick us into thinking we won't get out. But your reminder to look up is what we need in those times.
