The HACT trigger in the Howa is a great trigger and is very user adjustable. You can buy trigger spring kits or cut coils off the factory spring and get the pull down to 2.5 lbs or less!
For the $ you wont beat a weatherby vanguard weatherguard or howa 1500. I favor the vanguard because they are fit and finished much better then howa does.
This is pointless, but I'll still watch. Like saying which is better, lwrci or BCA. Both good, but not comparable. On eddit after watching, seems like most, you pay for the name, not necessarily the workmanship. Think about it, after a company has made the name, why go the extra mile, and Howa is made by people that are statving and really need a job.
Do you want know something crazy if Colorado passes there new gun control bill these rifles will be illegal in the state because of having a threaded muzzle
@@Bullets4Bucks ya it is hard to believe but in the there new gun legislation it says any rifle that has a treaded muzzle or a muzzle break or a suppressor handguns also they also want background checks on ammunition I have lived in Colorado my whole life and if this goes through I am seriously considering moving out of the state
@@changvue83they are a whole lot different! The Mark 5 action is the strongest action in a hunting rifle made and had 9 lugs that lock and weights almost twice as much as the Vanguard. The 2 lug Vanguard action is pretty easy to make snd mass produce! The Mark 5 action is the Hardest of all the actions to make and very time consuming! The only good thing about the Vanguard is they are usually more accurate then the Mark 5! I know this because I am a 60+ years gun collector as well as a hunter and reloader!
The action and the barrels are the same but the trigger and the stock are not the same! I might know since I have owned a couple hundred of them over the last 60+ years of collecting rifles 😳

User adjustable in todays market means being able to adjust the trigger easily. Not remove glue or trim a spring.

I recently got the 6.5 grendel Howa mini barreled action from Brownells and put it in a carbon fiber stock, 1/2 inch all day, amazing.
