    Wow, the Mestizo population used to be about 80% and the Amerindian population about 10%...I knew Amerindians had higher birthrates, but I didn't know the impact would be that drastic in only a few decades. The White Population has remained stable. Very interesting. But I do believe about 1% of Mexicans are Black or have some black in them.

      The black population is probably a less than 1%, but black african roots are way more extended. Probably 20% of the population have a high amount of african DNA. The Spaniards bring with them a lot of slaves (mostly men), but they were asimilated by the local population. The most recent add of black DNA, comes from a wave of immigrants from Haití, they are being asimilated too.
      There is a huge amount of middle eastern add too, specialy from Lebanon.

    • @MrSpikeyface
      @MrSpikeyface 2 года назад +3

      One must do whatever it takes to survive. The U.S. provides far more economic opportunities and ways to make a good living for oneself and no mexican person will ever argue witu you on that.

    • @natanhaelalvarado6137
      @natanhaelalvarado6137 3 месяца назад

      The Mexicans that go to the US are mostly poor people from rural areas where there’s lack of opportunities, they don’t go to the US because they want it, they leave family and loved ones behind.
      Besides nowadays are mostly people from south and Central America that are crossing the border.
      Last thing and probably the most revealing: nowadays many Americans are moving to Mexico and working remotely because life in Mexico is cheaper and they live like kings instead of peasants because their dollars go a long way in Mexico, look up.

    • @natanhaelalvarado6137
      @natanhaelalvarado6137 3 месяца назад

      @@MrSpikeyfacelike I said in my original response: the Mexicans that travel north are mostly poor people from rural areas, but Mexico also provides excellent opportunities, and the people with academic degrees, like msc, phd, etc. actually stay, that’s why Mexico doesn’t suffer from brain drain unlike India for example, where the doctors and people with academic degrees flee to Canada, UK, or USA.

    Mestizo is not accurate. We are still indigenous to north america. If you are light skin you are still indigenous. Im 95.6% mesoamerican and still light brown. Light to dark brown pigement runs in our indigenous blood. The term mestizo was meant to deindigenize our people. Don't fall for the colonizers words. It wasn't our term to begin with.
