    A tip for you in the future with swaybar issues like that, take a vicegrip (?) the one that locks itself in place. Behind the nut on the rubber part.
    If done correctly you can lock the bolt and screw it off, however you need to replace it after since the vicegrip can damage the rubber and hence rust can form inside it.

    No H&R didn’t label the spring wrong. You have them upside down. The larger coil that’s mostly flat is supposed to be seated in the spring perch. When you had the two springs side-by-side they were upside down. Also, I’ve installed many sets of H&R’s and have never seen a set mislabeled. Not saying it couldn’t happen, but in your case it didn’t. Those springs seem very close in coil diameter so it shouldn’t be a problem, but if you left them the way you installed them they’re upside down.

      I looked at them for awhile and matched up the ends on them. I will have to double check when I install new struts in the spring. Thanks for the info

      Financial Mistakes Living... I remember you saying the springs you replaced looked newer, as if the PO may have replaced them. It very well could’ve been that the PO put the replacement springs in upside down. Like I said, either way you’re OK. Those were pretty symmetrical coils, and especially if you haven’t had any issues at this point.

    • @financialmistakesliving
      @financialmistakesliving  3 года назад +2

      The ride is good. Not bouncy. Basically like stock. Handling is way better. Much more planted on the interstate.
      I dont have any regrets other than wishing the front was another half inch lower. But still recommend.

      It still has a slight vibration at low speed acceleration. Ive been procrastinating on installing front camber bolts. Which Im hoping will help

    • @financialmistakesliving
      @financialmistakesliving  3 года назад +2

      The fronts are 245/40 20. And the rears are 275/35 20. I can get you the offset when I redo the front end in the near future.
      Also they may not fit the same on your generation.

      @@financialmistakesliving thank you fo the information. I just purchased the H&R springs for 470.00 CDN and looking for tyres and wheels. I decided to go with the 245/45R20 on all four. I might make the rears 245/50R20 to close in on the wheel gap

    Did you spray some lube on the bolt before it broke or did you just try to loosen it without any lube?

    Do you have any vibration during acceleration caused from changing spring as i hear that is one of the side affects.

    • @financialmistakesliving

      Actually yes I do. Its not very noticeable. I always assumed it was because of my camber up front.
