What? The beach couple? Vow renewal? are both professors? They are too cute! Professors can't be cute. Just sayin. ~ The last dad daughter was precious.
I remember watching their episode and thinking they were so cute! We got to see their vow renewal too and he told her he loved her just as much if not more that day then the day they got married.
It's because a lot of wedding materials wedding dresses are made out of higher end materials in a lot of the work is hand done especially for alterations
Great video. The gown for the vow renewal was perfect especially because of the color choice. It was so nice to see the excitement in her husband. I loved the way the gown looked on the bride with her Dad. You could tell how happy she made him feel making it special with just the two of them.
I have a feeling her wedding gown was not her choice but Mom's or sis's or somebody else. I feel like she was railroaded into her wedding choice. I remember my family did that to me but NOT my gown as I bought that ON MY own because I knew how they would do. My in-laws were just as bad. I feel that way because she said the first wedding was more for the family than her. Hence the vow renewal after only one year and none of the family invited. I get it. I told my husband I wish we had eloped and took the money WE spent (family did not help) and gone to Hawaii.
I would want to surprise my husband rather than have him help select the renewal dress. But I truly can’t imagine spending 3 grand on a vow renewal dress. The dress they chose is lovely and perfect on her and they look so in love.
I understand your point, but since I have a very sick person in my close family I think it is worthy to celebrate life, love and squeeze out every moment of life ( sorry, maybe it is not correct in English). And it is better to have a husband who wants to celebrate romantic moments than a husband who doesn't do any effort.
@@Anna-fm7hh My son was engaged to be married but he died of cancer so I understand your point of cherishing every moment. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you need to spend a lot of money to do it. The other part of my comment about wanting the renewal dress to be a surprise to the husband is just my preference. I think it’s sweet that these two in the video are so loving with each other and want to make the choice together.
Why show the bride a crumpled sheet from Pnina, which costs two thousand more than her budget, when you can show her a bunch of dresses of exactly the same cut, which will fit her figure in the same way, and will cost no more than 2000-3000 dollars? Oh yes, I forgot: this is a store for the sale of dresses from Pnina! And the percentage of sales is much higher
I rolled my eyes when the second woman was trying on a Pnina; of course it is over budget. The lesson I take from these videos is "don't go to Kleinfeld if you don't want to be upsold to a trashy Pnina gown".
hahaha I thought the same exact thing. Hideous dress, ruched to death, and looked like she was wrapped up in shiny spiraled toilet paper. Another tacky overpriced Pnina.
When I married my now ex husband we wanted to have our rings engraved with the date and each others names, we didnt have time to get it done, the day after our first Anniversary we had our Son christened, we said to the vicar about wanting to have our rings engraved and asked him if we got them done, would he do like a blessing on them as we didnt feel right not wearing them for 3 weeks and just putting them back on! The vicar said yes he would love to do that for us, so we basically had a vow renewal infront of all our friends and family, best thing was, we didnt tell anyone about it, so they were all surprised ❤❤❤
I’ve been married for 43 years and never had a dress like any of these. My dress cost $60.00 and we got married at my in-laws house by my husbands cousin who was a pastor for $100.00. If my husband asked me about a wedding renewal I’d give him a flat no way. A waste of money.
I got you beat. I’ve been married for 75 years and my entire wedding was free! My dress was stolen from Kleinfelds and my officiant was some random priest we kidnapped and ummm… disposed of later.
@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj No, lol. I just don’t like it when old ladies brag about how cheap their weddings and dresses were. Plus it was the 80s. The decade of horrible fashion. She shouldn’t be bragging about it anyway lol
I miss my dad. At least I had him to walk me down the aisle at my "practice" wedding (groom turned into an a-hole after it ) and we had our Father-Daughter dance to ”You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. I lost my dad in 2014 to Parkinson's. But I'm 1000% convinced that first wedding happened so I *_could_* have those moments with my father. (And it doesn't hurt that I looked great too! I felt Dad's presence at that wedding too!💙💙💙❤❤❤
Don't pay Kleinfeld's markups for a flowy renewal dress. You can find beautiful flowy dresses so many places. With a $3k budget you can get a real designer dress from an actual real designer. Also, the Pnina dress was hardly "simple", it was very overdesigned, drowning in ruching.
I don't either. I think it's kind of a goofy idea. You've already made the vowels. Why renew them? That ship has sailed. I'd rather put the money toward a kitchen remodel. 😍
@@penelope5500 Perhaps when you have bought and paid for the house, remodeled the kitchen, put the children through college, and are looking at retirement, then you will understand the significance of renewing your vows.

I think it's VERY unprofessional of the consultant to show the bride dresses that are thousands over the budget. Why even ask about the budget if you're not going to respect it? I could understand a few $100 (maybe up to $500) over the budget but $2K over??
